    C: Yet the crowd cried out, Kill Him! Set Barabbas free!L: Pilate tried three times to set Jesus free and the crowd shouted at the top of

    their voices that He be crucified. So finally Pilate passed the sentence on Jesusthat they wanted and set free Barabbas, a murderer.

    R 5: The soldiers led Jesus away and hung Him on a cross in between

    two criminals. One hurled insults at Him, but the other rebuked hisfellow criminal and said, He has done no wrong. He asked Jesusto remember him, when you come as King! Jesus said, I promiseyou that today you will be in Paradise with Me.

    R 6: The soldiers and others made fun of Jesus. They even threw dicefor His clothes and offered Him cheap wine. Jesus said, Forgivethem Father! They dont know what they are doing!
