    Mechanical Equipment

    High efficiency fans and corrosion-resistant material are seleccted.Fans are driven by spiral bevel gearreducers selected wtih a mimimumAGMA service factor of 2.0.Motors are furnished according tocustomer's specification and aremounted outside the discharge airstream. Driveshafts are built from stainlesssteel or advance composite material andare dynamically balanced at the factoryto minimize operating vibrations.Fan cylinders feature velocity-recoverydesign made of FRP material.

    High Performance Heavy Duty Fill Fill or heat transfer media is the mostimportant component of CF SeriesSafety Maintenance Cooling Tower.

    The high performance heavy duty PVCfill maximizes cooling efficiency andhorse-power requirement.

    Drift Eliminators CF Series utilizes a 3-pass, sinusoidal drifteliminations with very low pressure dropwhile still maintaining excellent driftdroplet removal capabilities.

    Water Distribution SystemFRP or PVC header pipe coupled withPVC lateral pipes with non clogging polypropylene nozzles distribute water

    evenly over the entire full surface. Thewater distribution system requires verylittle maintenance and minimal operatingpump head.

    Access & SafetyHandrails are provided around the fandeck perimeter. Each tower includes avertical ladder as standard. Free standing

    stairway can be provided as option. Ahatch in the fan deck allows access tothe drift eliminator and water distributionarea by means of built-in ladder. Eachgear reducer is equipped with extendedoil line outside fan cylinder wtih sight glassand level indicator. Fan cylinders areequipped with removable access door.Drive shafts are protected with couplingguards to restrain the shaft in the event ofa coupling failure.

    Engineering We employ computer programs andCAD techniques in our engineering toprovide quick response to ourcustomers.

    Our computer programs cover thefollowing:

    1. Multipurpose counterflow designprogram.

    2. Multipurpose crossflow designprogram.

    3. Counterflow (and crossflow)performance curve calculation& display.

    4. Plume Abatement System designprogram.

    5. Test interpretation program tocalculate the test results accordingto the CTI Code ATC-105.

    We can supply cooling towers withdesign complying with CTI, DIN, BS orJIS requirements.

    Quality ControlWe carry out inspection of towercomponents and part according toour QC program. Tower materialssuch as wood, steel, fibreglass andplastics will be inspected as per ourquality control procedure. Equipmentsuch as fan assembly, gearbox, motorand drive shaft will be tested jointly withthe manufacturer of each equipment.We assure that items supplied are inconformance to our engineeringstandards and contract requirements.

    Field Erection Our erection crews are well-trained andhave sufficient knowledge and skills toundertake erection contracts with fullconfidence. Prior to physical erectionwork we will pay special attention to theerection schedule and establish a criticalpath. Our supervisor will also identify allgoverning regulatory requirements

    related to construction practices,building codes, and safely requirements.He will survey the availability of stagingspace, equipment availability, manpowerstrengths and skill level, as well as factorssuch as prevailing weather conditionswhich may affect the erection methodsand scheduling.

    Tower inspection & UpgradingWe provide cooling tower inspection toinvestigate and analyse your existingtower conditions. Our experiencedengineer will report to you the overallphysical appearance, current level ofthermal operation, structural condition,mechanical equipment status andupgrading potential after eachinspection.

    We apply modern upgrading orretrofitting techniques to maximize theperformance of your cooling tower. Ourapproach involves a step-by-stepinvestigation; namely, pre-testing of thetower-physical inspection-analysis-engineering-fabrication-construction-

    and post-testing to determine the degreeof improvement achieved.
