PANDEMIC
There are differences and options on the Avian Flu. Some said this could claim 150 million
deaths but there are others who said current alarm on avian flu is unwarranted as there isno proof of spreading between humans.
According to United Nations chief coordinator on bird flu said 150 million or more could die
from the disease if a pandemic strikes.
One of the frightening issues for a human flu pandemic arising from avian influenza is its
unpredictability, itsdifficult to estimate the death toll should H5N1 virus mutates info a
form, which can be easily transmitted between human. It is not possible to predict whether
a pandemic would occur once or it would repeat. However, an epidemiologist
recommended that goverments should take every possible precaution againist the treat ofbrid flu.
Contary to all dire talks about avian flu pendemic coming, an ecologist dismissed the current
panic as unsubstantiated and guess work.
Ecologist recommended that H5N1 virus still remains a bird flu and has no scientific
evidence of human-to-human transmission. There are billion of people across Asia which
only 118 are reported being affected by avian flu. So, how do they calculate to show that
150 million ore moredeath will come from avian flu. The global panic, according to the

ecologists, is the results of scare tactics created by politicians, medical doctors, and the
media.
Its premature to predict the outcome of avian flu until death scientist could confirm the
possibility of human-to-human transmission. The advice is to keep cool and DONT PANIC

BREAD
Almost everyone eats brode daily, especially for breakfast. Bread making is not a
complicated task. You must have an oven, sugar, salt, flour and yeast. The basic ingredient is
flour coming from wheat. There are two kinds of flour, which is the soft, and the hard one.
Hard flour, made by winter wheat, is better choice for making bread. Bread using hard flour
produces better texture and taste. Luke warm waber is added to the flour to make dough.
Yeast is microscopic organism. The size may not be impressive but it is capable of producing
carbon dioxide. It is also easy to use. Powered yeast needs only be dissolved in water to be
used instantly. Yeast works best in the presence of sugar and warmth.
Besides, encouraging yeast to grow quickly in the dough, sugar is added to give flour to the
bread. Salt is added for the same purpose, to make the bread taste nice. However, it has
reverse effect on yeast, unlike sugar. The next ingredient is oil: olive oil, corn oil, peanut oil,
and butter. It is essential for making the bread tender. After mixing with all these
