No cows or chickens were harmed when crossing said road.

I do love a road trip, and am going on one in August myself! Ill be cruisin down to Tampa Bay for my oldest daughters wedding, with my little granddaughter in tow. Im extremely thrifty and thorough in planning a trip such as this one. Ill pack a cooler of food, snacks, beverages, and energy drinks, and will have a grand selection of cds to enjoy (namely Beatles, Elvis, Dylan etc...). I find long drives to be very therapeutic, and an excellent opportunity to plan and dream and meditate. My car gets 42 mpg - a huge plus in making this vacation affordable! And, lets face it, sometimes its just nice to get the hell outta Dodge for a bit. Though it has been a wonderful summer in Minnesota thus far. Ive been working diligently building my art studio and gallery business, and things are really coming together! Between that, and my job, plenty of freelance art and design, taking care of my sweet little disabled granddaughter, and squeezing in a little social life, I know I am more than deserving of a break! I havent been to Florida in years - I enjoy the Gulf coast, trying new restaurants, seeing new sights! Of course, Erins wedding will make it particularly joyful. It helps that I truly like her fianc. They bring out the awesome in one another. On that note, Bon Voyage! Rated OBNOXIOUSO Slightly Oensive, Ridiculous Personication of AnimalsAided and abetted by an old joke and by Erin M. Dugan Jenkins.
