This month we are proud to have three films on board starring the Bruneian actress Nina Iskandar. In alphabetical order we have:

Lu, Gua Bro! Our first Nina film follows the ups and downs of two best friends, Yu (Zalif Sidek) and Mi (Epy Kodiang), who are from the same village and were even born on the same day. When they learn someone at their work is up to no good with a secret syndicate, it is up to the two friends to decide what to do.

Mukasurat Cinta Our second, and probably best known, Nina film, follows Putra (Mikael Andre) and Luna (Nina Iskandar). They have been married a year, but it is apparent that their relationship is on the rocks. Putra is focused on finding inspiration for his next novel, which he does by reading numerous indie books. One day, he comes across an interesting sentence in one of the indie books and he decides to set out to find the mysterious woman who wrote it.

companies, her stardom rose to its current giddy height.

At the 2016 Anugerah Skrin 2016 Awards in Kuala Lumpur, two TV shows that Nina starred in were nominated, one for Best Episodic Drama, Terlarang Sudah Rinduku, and the other for Best Drama, Pondok Itu Rumahku. And at the recent Drama Festival Kuala Lumpur 2017, Nina was nominated for Best Choice Actress and Best Choice On Screen Couple for Terlarang Sudah Rinduku.

Ninas achievements so far are formida-ble, and she doesnt seem to be slowing down. This year is set to be a busy one for the young actress who turns 26 on the 4th of August as shes appearing in a number of TV dramas and the film Hospital.

Ninas message for other aspiring actors is simple: the journey isnt going to be easy, but if youre willing to work hard and sacrifice, you can make it.

Sniper Ahmad (Mikael Andre) is a former army officer. Rafi (Fadlan Hazim) is a former competitive marksman. Both men are forced into a deadly game where they are expected to use their sniper skills to survive.

All three films were released in 2014, and marked one of the busiest periods in Ninas career.

Before rising to prominence as one of the foremost Bruneian actresses working today, Nina got her start as a part-time actress on local TV. After she signed with one of Malaysias biggest film production

"... the journey isnt going to be easy, but if youre willing to work

hard and sacrifice, you can make it!"

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2

It's been asserted by magazines and newspapers and even by film directors that Super Hero films will one day go the way of the western. Theyll be politely remembered, and some may be even held up as classics in their own rights, but most will be forgotten. If that time is coming, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 isnt going to be the film to usher in that change. Not least because it doesnt feature Super Heroes.

In the first film, we got something akin to an origin story (a firm staple of the Super Hero genre), which saw Peter Quill (played by the irrepressible Chris Pratt) and his band of alien misfits learning to trust one another as they went up against a cruel being out to destroy entire worlds Marvel villains do rather enjoy watching worlds burn

Guardians meet a human-like creature who can somehow survive in the vacuum of space, and who introduces himself as Ego the Living Planet (Kurt Russell). From there, things only get stranger.

Director James Gunn continues to work wonders with this franchise, thanks in no small part to his love of 1950s horror films, which were used as a basis for some of his early scripts. This unusual background means he comes up with some truly (and appropriately) strange and otherworldly imagery, but still doesnt stray so far that you couldnt imagine Hulk or Thor eventually cropping up in his bizarre, diverse and very colourful rendering of the far reaches of our universe.

Catch the latest epic Marvel blockbuster, on board today.

but there was little else about the film that resembled the Super Heroics we had become accustomed to. It was wonderfully frivolous, madcap, and utterly irreverent. The sequel picks up shortly after the events of the first film, and sees the Guardians getting used to working together, albeit with some difficulty. After completing a job for the Sovereign race a particularly uppity group of (
