From September 2020 the BCNS pre-school children (age 3+) will be based at Astley! They will be in one of the rooms in the new build and will be managed by current BCNS staff. We are really positive that this is going to be a great step forward for both BCNS and Astley, and are excited about working together to provide the best for the children of our community. We are back with a bang! In true Astley style we have had a busy first week back. Norfolk Wildlife Trust visited us on Monday

and spent all day working with classes to learn more about and enrich our outdoors and science curriculum. We persevered,

despite the weather! On Tuesday we all had flipping fun in the first ever Astley Pancake Races; each class battled it out for

two class winners, and the final took place in the afternoon. We crowned Oliver Kitchen, Elsie Lubbock and Mr Sayer Astley

ACE Pancake Champions! Well done to all! We have loved seeing all your ‘Big Read’ mascots, please keep these coming in.

A gentle reminder to be vigilant and safe whilst driving and to use the correct entrances and exits at drop off and pick up

time; the safety of our school community is paramount.

Have a great weekend.

What is ACE?

ACE is the ‘Astley Curriculum Experience’. It is

what and how we will deliver the whole school

experience for your child. ACE is inspirational,

challenging, inclusive and enables children to

become kind and respectful lifelong learners

who have CHOICE. We are currently working

hard to improve this even more.

We all want to be ACE learners!

and are excited about working together to provide the best for the children of our community. Any questions please

contact Katie Andrews (Director of BCNS) directly.

2) NSPCC – THANK YOU! We raised A MASSIVE £1223.721 for the NSPCC after our Danceathon! This is a huge
