Three outcomes

( Learnings )

Page 2: Assignment 8 2_prototypes - copy

1- Defining and re-defining the problem is NOT a

stage in the process of

Design thinking. It must be adopted during the whole

process. I believe that's the core of the mindset of the

innovator.

2- There is NO one right answer. NO one solution. So the only

way to be creative and innovative is to tear out the walls of

the box (which you are thinking inside). And start ideate

without boundaries, adopting ,many perspectives, (super

man , kids , old men , rich , poor). Also avoid judgment to

generate as many as possible of ideas

3- Prototyping and Testing the stages of the process

where you learn more and the feed back you get is

really precious. So what ever the feed back is

negative that would be an opportunity to learn and

achieve great success

Ideation - Brain storming Mind Map

Applying Design thinking to Mechanical

Maintenance Engineering

Train Personnel to use Design

thinking in their context

Apply concept of (constraints – free

ideation) in solving problems

Using the prototyping to

simulate the parts or modifications

Using the prototyping to

simulate the parts or modifications

Re- define the solved

problemsAnd invent new

solutions for them

Using more creative way to

write the reports ( the report will be educational and more interactive

Empathy can be applied when design the product adopting the perspective of the

User ( operator)
