What is Reward Academy?

Reward Academy is a two day certified training program for human resource practitioners across the Middle East. With a focus on the fundamentals of rewards and their practical application in the workplace, the Academy is designed to equip the learners with the knowledge, tools and techniques to tackle rewards related issues in their organizations.

The Need

The Middle East market is growing at a rapid pace and slowly shifting from compensation to a greater focus on total rewards. A rewards professional is seen as an integral part of the human resource strategy and is expected to have the know-how about the practical application of its principles at the workplace. Aon Hewitt recognizes this need and hence created the Reward Academy to build the capability levels in the region and develop a pipeline of knowledgeable, practical, result-oriented rewards professionals across the Middle East region.

HR professionals specializing in rewards, wanting to refresh their concepts and discuss issues they face, as well as new practitioners keen to develop their fundamentals in rewards.

About the CourseAn instructor-lead course intended to facilitate greater understanding of the principles of rewards and equip learners with the tools and techniques to tackle rewards-related issues at their workplace. The course covers essentials of total rewards, bringing a mix of theoretical knowledge and first hand experience contextualized to ensure a tailored delivery to our learners based on region, sector and level. Our team of facilitators ensure an interactive and inclusive approach to reach out to each and every learner and draw out unique experiences and examples.

The Academy also uses a live voting tool (individual responses are kept completely confidential) whereby participants can record their responses to some interactive questions interspersed with the course content to highlight the market practice in rewards and talk through these taking live examples. This tool was introduced in the region last year through our trainings as well as other presentations and has been an instant success with all clients.
