Since then, using Amara Enterprise, TED has gained an unprecedented global reach. Each video is translated into dozens of languages by a community of more than 42,000 volunteers around the world.

In 2014, over 33% of all video views on TED had subtitles enabled

During 2014, TED negotiated 18 distribution deals across 10 countries

TED volunteers created over 16,000 subtitles in 2014. During that period, 11,000 new

translators joined the project.
