Seoul Travel Guide
seoul is an amazing combination of contrasts.
While walking along the busy streets of downtown seoul,
you may suddenly find the gate of an old palace. In the boisterous city center,
you can stop for a while and rest alongside a stream.
Right after you step out of a modern shopping mall, you encounter a vibrant
traditional market, while as soon as you get off the subway, you can enjoy green
forest and riverside parks. Whenever you turn your head or blink your eyes,
entirely different landscapes and attractions catch your attention—this is our seoul.
Korea’s Ancient Modern Capital

more dynamic. Culture from the city spreads beyond asia and fascinates
people around the globe. seoul—where tradition and modernity, nature and
high technology coexist—marks the beginning of a new urban voyage.

• Spring (Mar.-May) Sunny and warm weather is common. However, visitors are advised to bring warm outer clothing because of sudden cold snaps and large daily temperature ranges.
•Summer(June-Aug.) with sweltering weather and an average temperature of 27ºC, it is recommended that you bring light clothes that absorb sweat well. During the rainy season between mid-June and early July, it may be a good idea to bring umbrellas, raincoats or rain boots.
•Fall (Sept.-Nov.) The weather is sunny and warm, but it starts to get chilly in the mornings and evenings. Visitors are advised to bring knitwear or light sweaters to fend off wind.
•Winter (Dec.-Feb.) It is cold and dry at around -6~7ºC. It often snows, so visitors are advised to bring hats or umbrellas. It is also necessary to carry gloves, scarves or masks to keep out the cold.
CurrencyThe Korean currency unit is the won (\, KRw). You can exchange currencies in airports, exchange booths at mega shopping centers and banks. It is also possible to use US dollars in duty-free shops in Seoul.

A lot of major hotels in the city have such transformers, but it would be better to prepare battery-operated products or a multi-voltage travel adapter.
Internet Most hotels are equipped with an Internet connection, which customers can use conveniently. If you have a notebook computer or smartphone, you can also access the Internet through wiFi in restaurants or cafes. If you need a password, you can ask the owner or manager of the shop.

As the newest trends are added to its long history, Seoul is becoming even
more dynamic. Culture from the city spreads beyond Asia and fascinates
people around the globe. Seoul—where tradition and modernity, nature and
high technology coexist—marks the beginning of a new urban voyage.
