At Allen Academy, we believe that students learn best when their teachers know them well. We keep our class sizes to an average of 12-18 students depending on grade level. This allows teachers to take a personal interest in the success of every child.

When students have a deep trust in and sustained support from their teachers, their achievement levels go up significantly. They are empowered and motivated to learn. Our students know that every-one from their kindergarten teacher to their college counselor is here to help them succeed.

From this foundation, Allen teachers, coaches and staff can effectively develop the whole child, helping each student grow intellectually, aesthetically, socially, physically, and morally. We want our students to be responsible, contributing citizens and fulfilled individuals. A rigorous but lively educa-tional experience is essential to their growth.

From AP courses to student clubs, we offer a rich experience.

Allen Academy offers twelve AP courses in Art History, Biology, Calculus (AB), Calculus (BC), Chemistry, English Language, English Literature, Environmental Science, European History, Physics, Spanish, and United States History. We also have Lower, Middle and Upper School clubs covering a range of interests.

In addition to offering a rigorous curriculum that provides students with the tools they need to prepare for college and beyond, Allen Academy also provides ample creative and athletic outlets.

Students at Allen participate in a variety of sports, musical productions, and fine arts. Every interested student has a place on the team, and everyone is encouraged to participate in multiple activities to broaden their experience.

Allen Academy offers 2-D and 3-D Art, Choir, Band, Theater (drama & musical), Speech and Debate.

Through the academic, arts and athletic programs, Allen develops well-rounded students.

Allen students have a full range of arts AND athletics choices.

Allen athletes get in the game. Allen has 20 teams competing in 11 sports: football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, soccer, baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track. Allen Academy is associated with the Texas Christian Athletic League (T*CAL). The conference also hosts fine arts and academic meets.

Allen Academy’s campus is located on 40 scenic acres in Bryan, Texas. Our beautiful new buildings have floor-to-ceiling windows, which provide a great deal of natural light. Smart Boards in many classrooms, an Apple computer lab and wireless Internet access, engaging teaching techniques and the use of technology merge to create an exciting and stimulating learning environment.

At the center of campus stands the Academic Building. Its two wings house the Lower School and the Middle and Upper School. The campus also features a separate preschool building, cafeteria, art and music classrooms, and a new gymnasium adja-cent to a new football field, soccer field and track.

Safety on campus is a priority. In addition to wrought-iron fencing, an electronic security system is installed on the doors of the Academic Building, limiting access and keeping our students safe and secure.

We teach our students to respect one another.

Through our Rights, Responsibilities, and Outcomes (RRO) program, our students learn to think about how their behavior affects others. They learn strategies to navigate conflicts in non-threatening ways. The program creates a level of self- awareness that sets them apart from other young people.

Allen Academy is unique among Central Texas private schools because of its international and re-gional boarding program. Students from across the world learn side-by-side with Brazos Valley students, exposing each other to experiences and world views they might not otherwise encounter.

The boarding program is a rich part of Allen’s heritage, and we are proud to host these young people at our school.

Allen works with several agencies, embassies, and overseas contacts to attract students to the school.

In a typical year, Allen enrolls 20-30 boarding students in an off-campus supervised dormitory.

Our boarding students add an international point of view.

Tuitions at Allen Academy are on par with tuitions at comparable private schools in the region. Our tuitions are also between one-third to one-half lower than tuitions at similar schools in Dallas and Houston, making Allen an exceptional value.
