• Any word, thought or social, political, economic and religious aspect of reality is filtered through the lens of what is called a world-view. A world-view, which is a group as well as an individual phenomenon, encompasses mental pictures of reality, that rest upon the use of shared assumptions about how the world works.

• In essence, a world-view is a Cognitive Culture, or the mental organization in each individual's mind of how the world works. The common aspects of our individual cognitive culture make up the cultural world-view of the group, which shapes the social culture, which is the way people relate to one another in daily activities, and how they cooperate together for the perceived good of society.
