oUr LeaderShiP

MiChaeL PerCh, Managing Consultant, and founder of Road Map Consulting brings over twenty three (23) years of sales, financial and contract management experience in assisting clients across the country. Mr. Perch owned and operated a successful small business engaged in federal government contracting for over seventeen (17) years before selling his company in 2006. After the sale of the company, he engaged with the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE) as a volunteer where he still serves providing one on one counseling and teaching workshops on GSA Schedule and Government Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC’s) as well as SBA certifications. A noted author, speaker and facilitator, Mr. Perch has certifications as Project Management Professional (PMP) and Information Technology Information Library (ITIL), version and holds a Top Secret Department of Defense Clearance. Mr. Perch also is an adjunct professor, teaching various courses on federal government procurement topics at colleges and universities across the country.

Mr. Perch has assembled a team of federal government contract management professionals and manages their daily activities that support the awarding of contract vehicles, certifications and contract awards of our clients.

atoUndra LawSon, Relationship Manager, is an attorney by training, but has a passion for working with small businesses. She comes to the consulting world by way of non-profit and local government administration. After practicing law in Louisiana, Ms. Lawson relocated to the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to work as an advocate for policy change on disparate minority incarceration. Traveling throughout the United States, Ms. Lawson helped lay the foundation for local criminal jurisdictions to establish not for profit, community-based, small businesses focused on therapeutic jurisprudence. While working on policy change, Ms. Lawson co-authored a monograph on sustainable practices to assist local jurisdictions published by the United States Bureau of Justice Assistance. Working for a mid-sized prime contractor to the Department of Justice, Ms. Lawson learned the ins and outs of proposal writing in the government contracting arena. Her prior experience with management, business development and government agencies helps her to clearly understand the needs of Road Map Consulting clients while providing well-researched, intelligent information.

Ms. Lawson is a graduate of Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is a member, in good standing, of the Louisiana State Bar Association.

kiM Canter, Contracts Manager, brings to Road Map Consulting over twelve years (12) of experience in government contracting, program management, training and curriculum development, and technical assistance delivery. Ms. Canter began her career as a Senior Associate at ICF International. Ms. Canter served as the Program Manager for the Disproportionate Minority Contact Community and Strategic Planning Initiative (DMC CASP) for the Office for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s National Training and Technical Assistance Center (OJJDP NTTAC). During her tenure at OJJDP NTTAC, Ms. Canter developed e-learning tools for the NTTAC Online University and directed national webinars aimed at state and local juvenile justice practitioners.

As Contracts Manager for Road Map Consulting, Ms. Canter assists clients with the development, submission, and management of GSA Schedules as well as managing the coordination of 8(a) Business Development and HUBZONE applications to the Small Business Administration (SBA).

JUStin MiLLer, Contracts Manager, brings to the firm over six (6) years of National Government Contracting, Account Management, and Sales and Marketing experience. Specializing in GSA Schedule Awards, Government Agency Contracts, and Direct-to-Facility Sales, he has extensive knowledge of customer identification, proposal preparation, solicitation response, contract negotiation, contract administration, and marketing to the Federal Government. Mr. Miller is also a graduate of both the Miller Heiman and Fred Pryor government sales programs.
