La mar lo es todo. Establece las reglas de nuestro clima y forja nuestra identidad cultural. Aber heute bin ich mir sicher, dass auf ich mich auf den Golfpltzen von Mallorca am wohlsten fhle. Die Umgebung, das Klima, die groe Zahl und Qualitt der Golfklubs haben die Insel zu einem der wichtigsten Reiseziele fr alle Liebhaber dieses Sports gemacht. As a major fan of this sport, I have to admit that over the years I have travelled around the world on the lookout for new golf courses, but in my opinion, none of them quite live up to the ones I have had the pleasure of experiencing on Majorca. The setting, the climate, the sheer number and quality of golf courses have positioned the island as a favourite destination for lovers of this sport; so much so that each year top international brands such as Rolex choose us as ambassadors for one of their own tournament rounds.

Puede parecer que por mi profesin tengo que estar ligada las 24 horas a la moda, las fiestas y al ocio lujoso. Pero, la verdad, lo que me gusta es hu i r de maquillajes, vestiditos y saraos y retirarme intermitentemente a mi is la cercana: Mal lorca. Por eso, aqu disfruto del relax total: tomar el sol, leer, pescar, ver pelis y documentales; en shorts, camisetas y chanclas, o vaqueros, jersey y las converse. No s si es glamour, pero me apetece.

Capricho.Mi capricho, es vivir en Mallorca y trabajar en Madrid y me lo estoy concediendo. Aqu he formado mi familia y aqu pienso disfrutarla. Ser madre, con un mallorqun, es un gran regalo.

Vielleicht sieht es so aus, als msste ich mich allein schon von Berufswegen rund um die Uhr der Mode, Festen und luxurisen Freizeitbeschftigungen widmen. Aber ehrlich gestanden, versuche ich immer, wenn ich kann, dem Makeup, den Kleidchen und gesellschaftlichen Veranstaltungen zu entfliehen und mich immer wieder auf meine Liebl ingsinsel z u r c k z u z i e h e n : Mallorca. Deshalb geniee ich hier absoluten Relax: Sonne baden, lesen, angeln, Filme und Dokumentarfilme sehen, in Shorts, T-Shirts und Flip-Flops, oder in Jeans, Pulli und den Converse. Ich wei nicht, ob das Glamour ist, aber das ist es, wonach mir ist.

Kaprice.Ich finde es wunderschn, auf Mallorca zu leben und in Madrid zu arbeiten und das gnne ich mir jetzt. Hier habe ich meine Familie gegrndet und hier mchte ich sie genieen. Mutter sein und das zusammen mit einem Mallorquiner, das ist ein groes Geschenk.

Due to my profession you may be forgiven for thinking that my entire day hinges on fashion, parties and luxury leisure. But the truth is I am at my happiest when I can forget about all the makeup, dresses and events and enjoy regular getaways to my nearest island - Majorca. When Im here, I feel I can really relax - sunbathing, reading, going fishing, watching films and documentaries - and slip into my favourite comfort wear: shorts, T-shirts and flip-flops or jerseys, jeans and my Converse. Im not sure whether you could call it glamour but its definitely what I feel like doing. He ten ido e l p r i v i leg io de conocer una Mallorca pocas veces mostrada al turista. La de las casas maravi l losas, mediterrneas siempre pero distintas, sorprendentes, elegantes. En Mallorca se recibe muy bien porque se vive muy bien. Quizs por eso sus tiendas de decoracin son magnificas, de nivel similar al de Nueva York, donde vivo, Pars o Miln. Busquen tambin en sus mercadillos, con gangas ms que apetecibles, o en los rastros, pero busquen. En Mallorca lo divertido es buscar.

Capricho.Pasar las navidades ltimas en Es Canyar, la casa mallorquina de mi madre, rodeada de mis amigas del internado suizo.

Ich hatte das Privileg, Mallorca von einer Seite kennenzulernen, die Touristen nur selten zu sehen bekommen. Die Insel mit den groartigen Husern, mediterran, aber immer wieder anders, berraschend, elegant. Auf Mallorca gibt es sehr gute Empfnge, denn man lebt sehr gut. Vielleicht ist das der Grund dafr, dass die Dekorationsgeschfte so fantastisch sind, etwa auf demselben Niveau wie die von New York, wo ich lebe, Paris oder Mailand. Aber auch auf den Straenmrkten sollte man suchen, dort gibt es preiswertere S c h n p p c h e n , o d e r a u f d e n Flohmrkten, auf jeden Fall sollte man suchen. Auf Mallorca macht es Spa, zu suchen.

Kaprice.Das Weihnachtsfest in Es Canyar, dem Haus meiner Mutter auf Mallorca, zusammen mit meinen Freundinnen aus dem Schweizer Internat. Mit ihren Partnern und Kindern. Und sonst keiner! Das war herrlich.

I have been privileged to discover a side to Majorca that tourists do not often have the chance to see: its fabulous Mediterranean homes - each one unique, but always delightful, surprising and elegant. Majorca is an incredibly hospitable and welcoming island precisely because life is so good here. Perhaps that is why its interior design and dcor stores are quite simply superb, on a par with New York, where I live, and Paris or Milan. Do not miss the chance to rummage through its markets, where there is always a bargain to be found although the greatest fun is to be had in hunting them down.

Caprice.Spending last Christmas at my mothers Majorcan-style house in Es Canyar, surrounded by friends from my Swiss boarding school days. And their partners and children. And nobody else! It was fabulous fun.
