> short-term: Students take action for favorite causesA single inspired student organizing a book drivecan generate 1,000 good books for aboriginal communities, worth $10,000. This is the averagethat Julia and Emma, their partner schools, andinspired kids like Victoria achieve. At 10 schools,it can be up to $100,000 worth of books. This isonly 1 of 49 causes and 196 actions in the Pack!

> long-term: YL Student Clubs take year-round actionInspired students form a YL Club and take 3 monthly actions, aligned with3 United Nations Days of the month, year-round: fundraisers, projects,campaigns, lifestyle challenges, skype meetings with YL Speakers etc. Incasual collaboration with teachers, they contribute to units, and makeyouth leadership part of the curriculum.

A classroom equipped with YL Media,inspired students and 2 YL Student Club membersThe Cardgame, Poster Sets and Hero/ines of the Month Exhibit alignedwith UN Days make youth leadership omni-present for the entire classcommunity, year-round. Without effort, with many benefits.

Teachers and student club collaborate for presentations, viewing videos, organi-zing skype meetings with featured changemakers and optional club activities.Students also manage a public exhibit, uniting students across classes andgrades, serving as learning environment for the whole school community. Theyask teachers to include 2 YL contributions in units per year. Across 10 subjects,this makes 20 per year, or one every two weeks. Hence, changemaking becomesnormal part of education, in non-formal ways, to 95% powered by students.

This is our PRIORITY.

The session can be organizedby student leaders and teachers, but manyappreciate having a YL Ambassador withthem. We are happy to be there! The sessionincludes a selection of YL media.

EQUIP A SCHOOL OR PUBLIC LIBRARYwith a fascinating range of inspirationalstories, teaching tools, cardgames, music,even a musical!Our packs contain hundreds of print anddigital media in up to 19 languages. Theywill inspire thousands of youth over years,generate further orders by libraries, andspark interaction with our global communityof young changemakers, for tangible change.

Introduce teachers to the new phenomenonof youth leadership and its integration inlearning culture. We look at how YL mediaand methods, our services for UnitedNations Days, speakers, webcasts, fieldpartners and YL student clubs enrich subjectteaching, service learning and educationfor sustainable development. We also reflecton how youth leaders succeed, the localschools' situation and potentials, emergingtrends in learning culture and the role ofouter school partners.
