APPROACH LEARNING BY DOINGThe Academy was founded in Milan in 1980 upon the private initiative of Ausonio Zappa, Guido Ballo and Gianni Colombo; its objective always was to challenge the rigid academic tradition and introduce visions and languages that are closer to contemporary artistic practices and to the system of arts and creative professions.

Over the past 30 years, NABA has refined a proven instructional method that thoroughly integrates classroom study with experiential

workshop practice. Our multidisciplinary approach combines traditional visual disciplines with new digital technologies and synthesizes individual study with group project work.

We establish numerous collaborations and projects with Italian and international companies and institutions to give students hands-on workplace opportunities to develop their critical thinking, conceptual problem-solving, and practical artistic and design skills.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS ACCREDITED BY THE ITALIAN MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, UNIVERSITY AND RESEARCHNABA is unique among all Italian art and design academies. It was the first and private academy accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). First and second level academic degrees are legally recognized in Europe and the world over. The NABA approach has received high accolades from third-party authorities. Magazines such as Frieze, Flash Art, and Kaleidoscope have ranked NABA as a top design school. Domus magazine named it as one of Europe’s top schools of architecture and design. NABA students were selected by the Art Directors Club Italiano for the Best European Design and Advertising and by Vogue Talents.

FACULTY Our professors are key to the success of our approach. They are highly skilled educators who are also practicing art and design professionals. They come from leading design and architecture studios, fashion companies, advertising and marketing agencies, and arts and culture institutes. Some are renowned art curators, designers, critics, published authors, or regular contributors to influential art and design magazines. All bring a current, real-world perspective to their lectures and group projects, through which they inspire students to learn, experiment, and grow.

SCIENTIFIC ADVISOR NABA DESIGN ITALO ROTAArchitect and designer, Italo Rota was born in 1953 in Milan. After winning the competition for the interior spaces of the Musée d'Orsay, he moved to Paris, signing the renovation of the Museum of Modern Art at the Centre Pompidou (with Gae Aulenti), the French School rooms in Cour Carré at Louvre, the lighting of the Notre Dame cathedral and Seine promenade and the renovation of Nantes city centre.

Among his projects, the renovation of the Museo del Novecento, at Palazzo dell’Arengario in Milan and luxury design hotels all over the world.

The studio has received many awards, including the Golden Medal for Italian Architecture for public spaces, the Golden Medal for Italian Architecture for culture and the spare time, the Landmark Conservancy Prize (New York) and the Grand Prix de l'Urbanisme conferred in Paris. Besides his intense professional activity, Italo Rota writes articles for magazines and architecture books, and holds conferences and lectures. On the occasion of Milan Expo 2015, Studio Italo Rota designed the Kuwait Pavillion.

NABA’s campus hosts more than 4000 students from all over Italy and more than 80 foreign countries. Its 13 buildings are located downtown in the Navigli district - one of Milan’s most exciting and stimulating areas - in a newly renovated industrial complex with significant architectural value.

NABA’s superb IT infrastructure, high-tech equipment, and fully equipped labs provide students with every resource for unlimited experimentation and self-expression. Numerous and spacious common areas help to build a strong feeling of community among students and faculty members by fostering invaluable interaction and collaboration.

The NABA campus, which covers approximately 17,000 sqm, includes an atelier and labs for several activities: design, knitwear, fabrics printing and dyeing, 3D printing, computer graphics, sound design, photographic studio.

In addition to these, there are also a student lounge area, print and paint shops, and a cafeteria.

The library contains books and other media relevant to NABA courses. Students can search for articles on EBSCO, the premiere online academic database. Lecture notes and supporting materials are available, as well as a complete record of design contests that students can participate in.

NABA’s Design Lab is a great resource for the production of models and projects. It is equipped with high-tech machines, tools, and a wide range of materials for the realization of ideas. Fashion students use NABA’s Fashion Lab to produce models and prototypes. Fully equipped with sewing machines, mannequins, and irons, as well as leathers and fabrics, the Fashion Lab is where students’ designs take shape.

NABA offers a wide range of programs to prepare students for international careers in art and design. Thanks to NABA recognition by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR), all NABA undergraduate and postgraduate degrees are internationally accepted. Based in Milan, the Master in Creative Advertising is a joint initiative between NABA and Media Design School in Auckland, New Zealand.

Students in this one-year master’s program will develop core skills in copywriting, storytelling, and art direction so they can create advertising campaigns across various types of media.

The program initially focuses on the basics of creative advertising - from terminology to project logics - through theory and practice.

After which, students will attend a series intensive workshops aimed at creating genuine campaigns with leading companies and sector professionals, while enriching their professional portfolios.

To further enhance their portfolios, students will also be encouraged to participate in prestigious international creative competitions. Upon completing the workshops, students will be offered the opportunity to undertake work placements. To complete the Master’s program, students will be required to produce a dissertation project, which will be evaluated by a panel of faculty and external professionals.

ABOUT MEDIA DESIGN SCHOOLMedia Design School is New Zealand’s most-awarded private higher education institute for the creative industries. A WAY OF FEELING IN COLLABORATION WITH BOSCOLO TOURTaking inspiration from the website viaggidiboscolo.it, Master in Creative Advertising students developed the visual identity, language and tone of voice for a B2B version of the site, in exclusive for the US market. The aim was to valorise and to reposition the “Boscolo Tour” brand emphasising the luxury of Made in Italy, exploring the five senses. In this manner, the prestige, charm and glamour of Italy's image in the world were accentuated.

Inspired by a “learning by doing” philosophy, the three-year BA in Design alternates and integrates theoretical studies with experiential workshops.

During the program, students are challenged by progressively more demanding tests and exercises as they hone their conceptual and technical skills. This accelerates their education and experience and exposes them to the many roles for designers today.

After exploring basic concepts and techniques, students learn to observe the multitude of contemporary forms of design and apply them in their work. The program aims to stimulate sensitivity and passion for the world of objects, understood as cultural artifacts that reflect and shape human life. It explores space as an environment, examining its interactions with objects and its function as a stage for individual and collective rituals.

Throughout recent decades, interior spaces have played an increasingly important role in our individual and collective environments. The “interior” space is substance, living matter.Entering into it does not mean entering an empty space but becoming part of a large body. Interior design activates and enlivens the complex public buildings within our contemporary cities and gives meaning to public spaces, which represent the interior of the city itself.

The program is characterized by its extensive workshops, in which students face challenging design tasks that are developed from an interdisciplinary perspective under the supervision of a small team of professors, each responsible for a distinct aspect of the project.

The program develops specific technical and methodological approaches to domestic spaces. The theoretical courses examine the historical and the present scenarios of Italian design and include research in the field of cultural innovation. Finally, the creative workshops, in which students engage in practical design projects, are led by outstanding personalities in the fields of interaction design, communication design, and exhibition design.

FOOD + FUTURENABA and Whirlpool have been working together with regard to future scenarios of food and its preparation processes. During this collaboration, the ways in which food is prepared in various cultural settings were studied, giving rise to innovative technological and design solutions. One of the results, Levita is a portable induction cooking surface. Its design is based on research and future trends predictions for the year 2022. Levita enables kitchens to be moved from one room to another throughout the house. Its intelligent surfaces allow users to weigh food, search a recipe database and order takeaway food. Food and recipes can also be tailored to specific dietary needs of individual users, the family and friends through special search filters.

The goal of the BA in Fashion Design is to prepare students to find a job within the Italian and international fashion system. The program is structured to help the student achieve learning objectives in a coherent and progressive way.

The Master of Arts in Fashion and Textile Design is an intensive two years project-based degree. In producing and documenting works related directly or indirectly to Fashion, students are expected to produce and document a body of works including: fashion design, textiles, visual and written storytelling, photography, graphics, costumes, millinery. The program’s main courses, taught by leading fashion professionals, rely heavily on lab experience. MAX MARA SPORTSWEARSportswear throughout history and the iconography of Max Mara is the theme on which six students worked to create an outfit for a personal capsule collection. Each student, dialoguing directly with the company itself on a regular basis during their research and creation, presented their outfit, collection sketches and relevant research. Among the projects selected, Riccardo Scaburri's work was chosen as a result of the optimal equilibrium shown between Max Mara's language and values in the past and current interpretations of the same.

Three of the students who participated in the design and creation of the capsule collection were given the opportunity to complete a six-month internship at the company, in its style office.

The BA in New Technologies for Applied Arts - Digital Production, alongside NABA BA in Media Design and Multimedia Arts, completes the Academy’s educational proposals in the multimedia arts sector. The course, in fact, has been conceived to train three types of professional figures, respectively in the fields of motion graphics, 3D design and animation, and game development.

Over the three years students will complete design work and participate in workshops to gain an insight into the common features of these subjects (during the first year in particular) and will then specialise in the application of one subject.

SCHOOL OF REC IN COLLABORATION WITH ROLLING STONENABA collaborated with Rolling Stone Italy, the world-famous music magazine, for the realization of the new production "School of Rec", that involved students in the production of several backstage clips on the music and artistic scenario. The videos document, among other topics: the work of the fashion editor of the magazine Simona Melegari revealing the behind the scenes of a fashion service; the “Vogueing”, an event of the NABA BA in Fashion Design that connected fashion and contemporary dance; and the video-interview to Guido Harari, musical photographer, realized during the presentation of his solo photographic exhibition.

For more than three decades, NABA’s three-year BA in Set Design has integrated theoretical and critical studies with technical and practical work. From its launch, this program has been enriched through opportunities for students to gain significant experience in the field. The BA program teaches theoretical, technical, and practical aspects of subjects such as scenography, theatre design, theatre costuming, and lighting.

More recently, new transversal courses in other disciplines, such narratology, and performing arts complete student training. These are arts with broad boundaries: everything required for a performance (theatre, film, television) or a spectacular event can be defined as “scenography.”

Students gain theoretical knowledge and techniques that enable them to organise their artistic production processes and learn to work in a team. They develop skills with 2D and 3D design programs and audiovisual media in addition to various painting and graphical representation techniques. Students learn to make artifacts such as scenery, props, and costumes. They acquire computer and organisational skills, both through practical application in the field during various training experiences and through drawing up budgets, periodic reviews, and specifications.

The program offers a broad spectrum of specializations relating to theatre and cinema, television, and the creation of artifacts, scenery, costumes, lighting design, and installations for every performance-related activity. Scenographers can assist theatre directors, act as set designers or interior decorators of television and cinema sets, and design and create installations for events, art exhibitions, and fashion shows.

DESIGN DANCENABA was selected by the Cosmit (Milan Furniture Fair organizer) as the only school involved in the realization of “Design Dance,” the leading and exclusive performance of the Milan Design Week 2012. Dance Design, a project by Michela Marelli and Francesca Molteni, celebrated the great human adventure through the unique experience of design, staging a spectacular narration that made the objects and works of the great protagonists of Italian design speak, act, and dance. BA in Set Design students, together with BA in Fashion Design students, worked for the realization of the scenes and costumes of this important performance.

This three-year program acknowledges the contemporary transformations that are blurring the traditional borders between fine art disciplines in favor of a project-driven perspective that attempts to connect art to a broader social context.

The program reinterprets and expands a traditional academic approach to painting and visual arts. It includes instruction and experimentation with the full array of artistic techniques and media, encouraging students to conceive artistic works with the complete project in mind and with regard for the dynamics and values of contemporary art.

Students are guided through experimentation with a variety of environments, techniques, and methods, which support them in developing an individual way of expressing themselves and their personal artistic path.

The program was founded on the belief that the role of an artist is becoming more and more similar to that of a professional capable of playing various roles within contemporary aesthetic and social education, thereby carrying out functions that are connected with the worlds of production and communication. Besides creative skills, students are also encouraged to develop their skills with self-promotion and organization to gain easier access to the professional world.

The one-year Master’s Program in Photography and Visual Design integrates theoretical study with laboratories and project workshops. Coursework is enriched by guided visits to research centers and performance spaces, audiovisual production facilities, publishing houses, theatres, artists’ studios, museums, and contemporary art galleries.

Workshops simulating real assignments in real technologically-equipped studios are conducted in collaboration with a network of partner companies and institutions and focus on various project areas from photography exhibitions to magazines, photo/video interactions, and corporate projects.

The second part of the program is dedicated to a period of internship at selected companies or institutions such as publishing companies, editorial offices, photo agencies, photo archives, museums, galleries, or photo studios that facilitate entry into the job market. The combination of all these different aspects and approaches represents the tools through which this program prepares groundbreaking professionals to enter the world of photography, arts, and national and international communication.

The Master in Contemporary Art Markets is an intensive study path directed at providing students with effective tools to interpret art market structures and dynamics, with particular focus on contemporary artistic languages.

The Master in Contemporary Art Markets provides students with the opportunity to come into direct contact with established industry professionals and to collaborate with international acclaimed art galleries, auction houses, art fairs, institutions, collections and art centres.

The educational path comprises two cycles: the first is dedicated to classroom activities and thematic workshops allowing students to apply notions learnt. Visits to galleries, fairs, foundations and museums are also part of the program. The second cycle focuses on internships, enabling students to experience different market areas first-hand.

During this cycle, students also prepare their final projects and attend a three-day study trip to Basel in June during the ArtBasel art fair, the sector's most important annual event.

THEATRE OF LEARNINGIn June 2015, students, together with leading figures in the history of performance and art, such as Joan Jonas, John Baldessari, Nanni Balestrini, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Yona Friedman, Piero Gilardi and Anna Maria Maiolino, in addition to visiting professors, including Ute Meta Bauer, Hou Hanru and Jens Hoffmann, were directly involved in the Theatre of Learning project, curated by Marco Scotini for NABA MA in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies. Devised as a "learning platform", the project has used performative mechanisms in a pedagogical context as "in-depth exercises" to make and produce art.

NABA’s campus area was then transformed for an evening into a grand festival open to the public and to the city, during which a series of historical performances were staged for the first time or re-enacted. New ideas conceived by the invited artists were also performed, in addition to happenings, theatre animations, collective reading, live productions and actions.

As stated by Marco Scotini: "For years I have been attracted to the idea of repetition as conceived by Deleuze and the idea of a theatre of repetition. This idea is part of the DNA of performance. Performance is always "here and now", while referring to a "then" and "elsewhere". Repetition is never a return to something identical, but makes what is past still possible."

Semester Abroad students will spend a semester at NABA together with students from all over the world.

Semester Abroad programs are a combination of theoretical and project based courses, taught by an experienced faculty composed of reputed designers and creative professionals.

NABA Semester Abroad Programs are offered to Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.

EUROPEAN CREDIT SYSTEM ECTS

The NABA academic system is based on ECTS credits:

1 ECTS Credit corresponds to 25 total learning hours, including self directed study.

At the end of their Semester Abroad Program, students will receive a transcript with ECTS credits for all successfully completed courses.

Upon receiving the transcript of records, home institutions will be able to recognize the entire educational path spent at NABA and ensure credits and grades to the student.

SHORT COURSES / CORSI BREVIThe NABA short courses are designed for an audience of students, professionals, even without academic qualification, who want to improve in their field of interest and explore new paths in the context of art, design, graphics and fashion. The courses are held in Italian.

CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IN SOUND DESIGNThe Certificate Program in Sound Design combines critic knowledge, creative research and technical processes in several music production fields: electronic music production, sound branding, sound engineering and sound design for cinema, television and radio, avant-garde music and sound art. The courses are held by internationally renowned experts.

The educational path is structured into three cycles, each one of three months: Preparatory, Production and Final Summary. Each cycle includes three workshops and exercises in assisted workstation and laboratory productive sessions. The second cycle provides a four days study visit to Paris.

The course is designed to prepare students to several professions in the music business: inside music research centers, in recording studios, in the organization, direction and production of music shows.

The professional figures that will come out from this course are: sound designer for movies, television, videomaking, radio, communication; electro-music producer; sound artists, sound research and contemporary art.LENGTH: 342 hrs LANGUAGE: Italian

Through exchange programs, NABA's International Office encourages and supports students wishing to study abroad. The office promotes educational experiences at numerous prestigious international partner universities worldwide. Thanks to this vast international network, students at NABA are able to spend periods of study abroad, enriching their educational curriculum and laying the groundwork for increasingly international future careers. International study opportunities are mainly provided as part of the Erasmus+ project promoted by the European Commission, the International Exchange Program for destinations outside of Europe, the Semester Abroad Program and short summer courses.

Students and alumni can find the perfect match with companies thanks to Darwinsquare, the on-line platform where students and alumni can showcase their curriculum vitae and portfolio, and where companies can advertise internships and placements and select the profiles best fitting their requirements.

Every year, the NABA Career Service Office organizes the Talent Harbour Week, an initiative on campus that offers students and alumni the occasion to receive a market update in their fields of interest. During the event, well-known companies share their experiences and offer the possibility to take part in job interviews.

SOCIAL, SPORT AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES, EXTRA CURRICULA SERVICESThe Student Life Office provides several non-educational services directed at facilitating student integration at NABA. These services range from assistance with bureaucratic issues (Italian personal tax codes, residency permits for non-European students, bank account opening, etc.) to healthcare and social life matters. Activities promoting integration include the welcoming of new groups of students, leisure time courses and courses encouraging personal growth, such as meditation, biodance and yoga, cineforum, weekend trips and excursions out-of-town, in addition to social and musical events on campus. All students can participate in the sports and recreational activities promoted by the Student Life Office, both on and off campus, such as football, tennis, table tennis, etc. Students can also take advantage of special arrangements with gyms and shops in the area. Students may also make appointments with a local doctors'

surgery and benefit from their healthcare services; information on specialised medical centres is readily available to students.

BUDDY PROJECTThe Student Life Office coordinates the Buddy Project, an initiative in which a group of second and third year students offer additional support to international first year students and to exchange students. Assistance is provided in particular during the period leading up to arrival on campus and during the first semester.

STUDENT CAREStudent Care is a new service offered by NABA to its students, especially to students with specific learning disabilities (SLD) and physical disabilities. The service aims to facilitate the learning experience, with particular focus on how students are examined and/or removing learning process obstacles, in addition to monitoring academic careers.

MYNABAThe MyNABA area of the school’s website is reserved for internal NABA communications.

It’s the place where students and teachers can find information about academic careers, educational activities, and campus services and laboratories. The MyNABA area also offers access to a personal NABA email account.

NABA SOUNDNABA Sound is an educational academic project in the sound production field: Djing, Electronic Music Production, Sound Art, Sound Branding and Sound Design for movies, TV and radio. With the active involvement of the students, NABA

Sound took part in the editing of PRE-DELAY, Sound Magazine and ZINE, in the PRE-DELAY WEB RADIO broadcast and in the schedule of the Temporary Music Events.

The NABA Sound creative and productive activities are for the students useful opportunities to share their ideas with an expert and professional audience. NABA Sound has a dedicated equipped laboratory.

LANGUAGE CENTREThe Language Centre at NABA has been opened to help students to improve their knowledge of English in order to obtain their language credits as part of their study plan. In order to support students in their learning process, the Language Centre organizes English courses, which are free of charge, at different levels which run either over a term or as intensive 4-week courses. It also organizes remedial courses for those students who want to attend the English programs but don’t have the necessary English level at the time of enrollment.

NABA runs English tests either to assess students who need to get their credits or for those students who can’t produce a recognized certificate before joining one of the English programs. The academy wants to stress the importance of English nowadays and therefore has made it part of the students’ curriculum in order to guarantee that students leaving the academy after their bachelor degree will all have a B1 level of English.

Bachelor of Arts Degree Programs – Admission Process for International StudentsADMISSION AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

International students applying to attend our Bachelor of Arts Degree Programs are requested to go through an entry selection process. This helps NABA to assess each applicant’s motivation and potential for success in their chosen field of study. International applicants may choose one of the following assessment options:

› Distance evaluation based on the submission of an artistic statement and a project assignment for each specific BA program (see application form). This option is available at all times

› Entry exam at NABA campus in Milan which is scheduled during the month of September

Students wishing to enroll in one of our three-year Bachelor of Arts Degree Programs are required to:

› Hold a valid secondary school diploma that has to be validated by the Italian diplomatic authority present in the country where the diploma was obtained and that has been awarded after a period of study of at least 12 years. In case the local education system requires a University suitability test, this should be passed and verified in the official documents (Declaration of Value). Examples of countries with University suitability test: Selectividad in Spain, Gao Kao and Yi Kao in China, ÖSS in Turkey, CSAT in South Korea,...

› Prove their language proficiency:

— IELTS 5.0 Academic (or equivalent) for programs run in English

— B1.2 level of Italian (according to CEFRL) for programs run in Italian

› Pass the NABA entry selection process

Students meeting the above requirements have to submit the documents listed here below by the beginning of their course, in order to confirm their enrollment in the BA Degree Programs:

› Translation into Italian of the High school Diploma, made by a certified translator

› “Dichiarazione di valore in loco” (Declaration of Value) of the student’s High School Diploma. The “Dichiarazione di valore in loco” is the document attesting that the study title obtained by the student is valid. The Declaration of Value is issued by the local Italian Embassy/Consulate in the country recognizing the study title.

Non-EU students shall also comply with the pre-enrollment procedures outlined by the Italian Embassy in their home country. This step applies to all non-EU students applying to BA programs. The pre-enrolment will give you the possibility to study at NABA and allow you to obtain the study VISA from the Italian authorities.

Students are asked to fill in a form called A-Bis (available at the Italian Embassy/Consulate or in their website) within a specific deadline, which varies according to the yearly guidelines provided by the Italian Ministry of Education (Pre-enrolment sessions are usually scheduled between May and June of each year).

NABA International Admissions office is available to assist applicants, offering guidance throughout the admission, enrollment, and visa application process.

DIPLOMA PROGRAMS:

Students who do not meet the requirements for admission to three-year Bachelor of Arts Degree Programs (i.e., students who have completed only 11 years of education or do not submit the Declaration of Value) may apply for the NABA Diploma Programs.

These programs offer the same curricula and exams as our Bachelor of Arts Degree Programs but lead to a private NABA Diploma instead of a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

To enroll in a NABA Diploma Program, students are required to submit a document verifying their previous studies. This document can be provided either in Italian or English and does not need to be validated by the Italian Embassy or Consulate. It is not necessary to provide a Declaration of Value.

TRANSFER OPPORTUNITIES:

Students from foreign Universities can apply to complete their degree at NABA. If they are transferring from a University recognized in their home country, the students can enroll in the second or third year of any NABA BA program, provided that they meet our requirements for transfer admission.

Transfer applicants have to send a portfolio of projects and official documents verifying their previous studies (detailed transcripts and course descriptions, including grading scale, credit workload, hours).

Transfer applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the language of instruction of the chosen degree program:

– IELTS 5.0 Academic (or equivalent) for programs run in English

– B1.2 level of Italian (according to CEFRL) for programs run in Italian

Once the assessment has been completed, applicants will receive a feedback about the final result including credits recognition for the acceptance and will be informed whether they have been accepted to attend either the second or third year at NABA.

Enrollment will be confirmed once the following documents have been submitted:

- University transcripts officially translated and legalized

- Declaration of Value of the Secondary School Diploma

Master of Arts Degree Programs and Academic Master Programs – Admission Process for International StudentsADMISSION PROCESS:

Admissions to NABA Postgraduate Programs are based on the evaluation of the following set of documents: application form, detailed resume, portfolio of projects, motivation letter, copy of BA degree or academic diploma, copy of academic transcripts/mark sheets, application fee, copy of passport, and language certificate.

The application is assessed by both the Course Leader of the selected department and by an Admission Committee who will evaluate whether the degree and the technical skills match the requirements. They will also identify possible educational credits or debts.

An additional interview can be scheduled upon the request of the candidate or the faculty.

Students wishing to enroll in one of our Master of Arts Degree Programs or Academic Master Programs are required to:

› Hold a valid bachelor degree or academic diploma that is validated by the Italian diplomatic authority in the country recognizing the study title

› Prove language proficiency:

› “Dichiarazione di valore in loco” (Declaration of Value) of the Bachelor Degree. The “Dichiarazione di valore in loco” is the document attesting that the study qualification obtained by the student is valid to study at Italian Universities/Academies.

Non-EU students shall also comply with the pre-enrollment procedures outlined by the Italian Embassy in their home country. This step applies to all non-EU students applying to 2-year Master of Arts Degree Programs (it is not needed for the 1-year Academic Master Programs). The pre-enrolment will give you the possibility to study at NABA and allow you to obtain the study VISA from the Italian authorities.

Students are asked to fill in a form called A-Bis (available at the Italian Embassy/Consulate or in their website) within a specific deadline, which varies according to the yearly guidelines provided by the Italian Ministry of Education.(Pre-enrolment sessions are usually scheduled between May and June of each year).

NABA International Admissions office is available to assist applicants, offering guidance throughout the admissions, enrollment, and visa application process.

NABA scholarships for international studentsIn order to encourage international talented students to join our Academy and to have a true international academic environment, NABA provides a number of scholarships reserved for foreign students. Every year, special calls for scholarships are published for bachelor degrees, master degrees, and academic master programs.

NABA financial aidNABA offers financial aid consisting of a partial reduction of the tuition fee that can be granted to deserving students with financial constraints.

Students are evaluated on both merit and financial situation.

In order to apply for financial aid, students must be eligible for their program of interest, and are asked to:

› Fill in and sign the financial aid application form, which can be downloaded from www.naba.it or requested via email from [email protected].

› Write an official letter specifying the reasons for the request.

› Provide official documents proving their financial situation (e.g., income tax return, bank statements, salary slips).

Documents must be submitted in English or Italian and emailed to [email protected].

The Financial Aid Board will review all requests at the end of each month. NABA International Admissions office will inform students of the decision taken by the Board.
