Share Correspondence via AnywhereDolphin using new Email with Secure Attachment option

Implement the new Email with Secure Attachment option available in version 6, which delivers correspondence via AnywhereDolphin. Set patient Mailing Preferences to “Email with Secure Attachment,” so emailed correspondence is uploaded to AnywhereDolphin, instead of the current method of emailing an attached PDF. Recipients receive a short email with a secure, embedded link which redirects them to AnywhereDolphin to view the correspondence. We feel this is a more safe and secure method to share information with your patients:

ACH / Debit Card Support via XCharge Software

We expanded the payment options available via

XCharge to include Debit/Pin-pad and bank account

(ACH) support. Additionally, we implemented a new

version of the XCharge software to stay current on

PCI / PA-DSS requirements.

Patient Network screen

From the new Patient Network screen, easily view and access everyone in the patient’s network. The Patient Network screen brings the following to one centralized screen:

Relationships: All related parties, mom, dad, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, etc.

Referrals: All referral information

Schools: Patients who attend the same school, sorted by age

Employers: Patient or others that work at the same employers of any related billing party

Custom Fields: Set up custom fields, like hobbies, to track and show other patients with the same hobbies (we’ve made some changes to Custom Fields to better handle this)

Email calendar attachments when appointments are scheduled

Dolphin Management now integrates with TAPI

Integrate Dolphin Management with your phone system via the new TAPI (Telephony Application Programming Interface) integration. Once configured, Dolphin Management recognizes incoming phone number and opens the appropriate record, either patient, billing party or doctor, in a new “Incoming Call” window. NOTE: To support this feature, your phone system must provide a TAPI driver. Contact your phone system provider for more details.

New “Images (Non-Dolphin Imaging )” Treatment Card field

We’ve added a new Treatment Card field, Images (Non-Dolphin Imaging). This field allows you to capture and attach images to a Visit entry. For example, you may take a quick snap shot of the patient’s hygiene and attach to today’s Visit entry, for documentation and future review purposes. NOTES: Images can be captured from a file on your hard drive, flash drive or memory drive or via a direct capture from a TWAIN compatible source (scanner, camera, etc.). Multiple images can be attached to a Visit entry. For Visit entries with images attached, a numeric counter is displayed, indicating the number of images captured for that visit entry. These images are viewable only from Treatment Card and are not available for Correspondence/Power Point integration.

Asynchronous Loading (faster loading of screens)

Taking advantage of some new development technologies available to us, we’ve re-engineered many of our

screens to load asynchronously. This means the commands that open and load a screen are spread among

several different “background threads.” Think of it as spreading the work around. We hope the impact is faster

loading screens (or the impression of faster loading screens).

A Few Other Miscellaneous Enhancements worth noting

We added 3 tabs to the Exams to Treatment Starts Analysis: o Appointment(s)/Treatment Type(s) includes the New Patient Exam Appointments filter and the

new Treatment Types filter. o Location(s)/Employee(s) includes the Locations, Orthodontists and Treatment Coordinators

filters. o Group By/Order By includes the Group By/Order By filter.

We added a new filter, Treatment Types, to the Exams to Treatment Starts Analysis. This filter includes all treatment types considered treatment starts. Use this filter to specify which treatment starts you want to include in the analysis.

You can now put letter tokens inside of Questionnaire answers (both One-Page Questionnaire and Super Questionnaire). When merging letter tokens for a question, Dolphin Management merges any tokens it detects in an answer. This also works in the Notes field of a letter in the batch, as well as custom tokens (you can have a token return a token that will subsequently be merged).

We added a new System Option to allow practices to turn off the Lock/Unlock feature for Treatment Card Notes, which was added in Version 5.5.

When you run a DIRT report and specify to send SMS text to all accounts returned in the report, you can send the message to either the patient or billing party, even if the billing party information is not included in the report.

We now supply an Automated Email Messages task on the Dolphin Scheduled Job Manager. This works the same as the Automated SMS Messages task, except that it sends email rather than SMS messages when it is run.

You can now email receipts for posted recurring payments. From Patient Financials, after you start the contract, click the Recurring tab. There is a new field, Receipt Method, from which you can select either Printed or Email as a Standard Attachment

We added two new fields to the Add/Edit a Relationship dialog box: o Gender(s) defines whether a relationship is gender-specific or applies to both genders. o Inverse Relationship(s) defines the reciprocal or inverse relationship or relationships that apply

to a relationship. For example, if you specify Brother as an inverse relationship to Sister, when you edit Sister it shows an inverse relationship to Brother.

o The relationship manager uses this information to filter the list of possible relationships between two people in your database.

We added a new tab to the Document Organizer, called Shared Documents. This tab shows any documents that have been shared using the new Email with Secure Attachment feature. You can see all documents that have been shared securely and you can cancel access to certain documents if necessary.

Hummingbird Report Changes

We added a new column, Last Tx Comment Date to all Hummingbird reports that have the column, Last TX Card Comment.

We updated the Daily Check Sheet report to ensure that the report searches for treatment card comments for reason code #6 only.

We have enhanced the Daily Check Sheet report to include treatment notes and the recall month and year.

The Daily Check Sheet report now prints either the most recent patient comment of type Treatment, or the most recent treatment card comment.

We removed the sub-grouping by treatment classification on the Treatment Efficiency report and Treatment Efficiency Summary reports.

The Deband Types Appointments category has been renamed to Phase I, Phase II and Full Debands Type Appointments. The Monthly report and the Tx Efficiency reports use this category.

We added a new Hummingbird category, Phase II and Full Deband Type Appointments, which replaces the category Deband Type Appointments. This Category is used in the Patient in Deband Appointment by Date Range.

We removed the column, Months Past Estimated Completion Date from the Active Treatment Without an Estimated Completion Date report.

We added the column, Next Proc Date to the Growth Guidance - Obs Recall - Phase II Pending Patients Who are Due or Past Due for Recall report.

The Growth Guidance - ObsRecall - Phase II Pending Patients Due Last Month, This Month, and Next Month for Recall report now excludes future years.

We made the following changes to the Hummingbird report, Missed Treatment Card Entries by Specified Range of Days:

o The Proc Sched column is now Proc Dsmsd o The Proc Date column is now Dsmsd Date o We modified the Hummingbird report, Inserts Scheduled for a Specified Range of Days so it

returns patients based on the scheduled location, not the patient's assigned location.
