BIG DREAMSStephanie De Los Santos

A ew Christmases ago, my amily joined the Center or Community ransormation eeding program in Roxas Boulevard. When I saw all the children there, o the bat, I told CCPresident Ate Ruth Callanta, I these children are not taken o the streets at this young ageo our or fve, when they are seven, they will start learning how to steal then later on they

will go into drugs.

A ew months ater, Ate Ruth called me up and said, We took what you said seriously andwe have taken a ew children o the streets and have temporarily placed them in a donatedproperty in Laguna. So what do we do now? I was so surprised. I didnt know what to sayI suggested we start an educational program with them and see what happens. Tat is thebeginning o our journey into education. I learned that God hears what we say and He canturn it into something we can never imagine.

We started the education program with the children and as their number began to multiplywe at the Visions o Hope board started asking ourselves, what should we do? With a bigamount o aith in our hearts and lots o prayers, we started a building project.

Te last quarter of 2012 was a timefor new learning and Gods faithfulprovision.

After Long Wait, Isla Puting

Bato Preschool Starts 2nd RunIsla Puting Bato, a slum community inManilas port area, used to be ull o smallchildren running around naked while someo their parents gambled or scavenged orliving. Visions o Hope Christian School

VOH Health Team

Equips VolunteersBakit ngayon lang? (Why only now?)asked Lilia Cepe o aguig as she expressedgratitude or the wealth o inormation andthe training she gained since she became aVisions o Hope (VOH) community health

Former street dwellers rom the CC Kaibigan Ministry built the VOH Christian Schoostructures here in Puypuy, Bay, Laguna. Tey used to live lives that meant nothing, with nohope or any uture. oday, they are not only learning skills and living transormed lives, theyare now blessing these children by becoming a blessing themselves.

God has big dreams or these children here and so do we. We want to give them excellentChristian education and a good sports and arts program so that they get scholarships or colleges. As we invest in their lives, we believe that we will have missionaries, doctors, engineersarchitects, mechanics, lawmakers, business people, all kinds o proessionals, all o them impacting the lives o others or the Lord and transorming our community and nation.

I pray that you can join us as we, in our own small way, be an instrument in helping changethe lie o a child, one at a time. I guarantee that as you become a blessing to one, you wilnever be the same again.
