In 1929, Vine growers of Passy-Grigny lived off the sales of their grapes without reaping their rewards so Dom Caudron gave them the idea of joining forces to produce and showcase the fruit of their shared passion: the Meunier.

In-depth knowledge of the original grape variety and the equipment has given rise to a range of champagnes which unveil its fruity personality in all its forms, from the simplest to the most complex. These are champagnes with a modern, gourmet and enticing flavour.

DOMAINE DES BORMETTES

Domaine des Bormettes, teeming with history, bears witness to the viticultural development of the Var coastline, which became the well-known region of La Londe. Archival remnants of the Gallo-Roman period document the praise of a prominent 14th century vineyard and this recognition only grew in 1588 with the settling of the La Verne Carthusian monks who spearheaded its winemaking evolution.

The vineyard of Château des Bormettes lies at the heart of a nature reserve next to the Mediterranean Sea. It is situated around the Saint Martin Peak (elevation: 111 meters), known for its ancient oak tree, with a cellar located a Carthusian monastery. Grenache, Shiraz, Cinsault, Vermentino, Mourvèdre and Cabernet-Sauvignon grapes are currently cultivated here and soon even more grape varieties will follow the passionate revival of this vineyard.

Domaine des Baumettes có lịch sử từ rất lâu đời, là minh chứng cho sự phát triển của nghề trồng nho tại bờ biển Var, một vùng nổi tiếng của La Londe. The EHRHART familly has been farming the diverse terroirs of Alsace since 1725, based in the village of Wettolsheim five kilometers west of Colmar. Corinne and Philippe Ehrhart farm their 24 hectares organically and biodynamically amond 11 villages and are certified Demeter. Among their holdings are four Grands Crus (Hengst, Brand, Schlossberg and Goldert) and four lieux-dit (Rosenberg, Herrenweg, Im Berg and Val St-Grégoire). The wines are regularly honored in guides such as Wine Spectator, Wine & Spirit, Wine Enthusiast ... and in 2015 the Domaine Saint Remy was awarded and reconized for having the « Best Gewurztraminer from the World » for his Gewurztraminer Lieu-dit Rosenberg 2013.

Gia đình Ehrhart đã trồng nho tại nhiều mảnh đất khác nhau ở vùng Alsace từ năm 1725, tại làng Wettolsheim cách năm cây số về phía tây của tỉnh Colmar. Pierre de Segonzac has a unique story in the region, the family Ferrand produce cognac since 1702 and the vineyard (100% Grande Champagne 1st cru) never had change owner. They are “bouilleur de cru”, which means that they control all the process of production: take care of the vineyard to obtain the best grapes, distil twice their wines (two stills of 18 and 25 hectolitres) and then, they watch it as it ages in oak barrels…

Business France is the French Government’s national agency supporting the international development of the French economy, responsible for fostering export growth by French businesses, as well as promoting and facilitating international investment in France.
