Objectives
• Showcase new technologies in an atmosphere that inspires engineers to innovate.
• Create collaborative work spaces to allow for exploration of products, technologies and services.
• Highlight products from Verizon’s partner companies Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Cisco and Samsung Mobile.
Solutions
• The team created and fabricated a unique environment to host engagements with customers and industry thought leaders to highlight 4G LTE technology and solutions.
• Flexible and easily changeable work spaces were created to allow engineers the freedom to shift focus among industries as needed.
• Partner products were featured around the room on kiosks and included imagery, descriptions and videos.
Results
• Within just a few months, more than 30 products were developed and demonstrated in the Innovation Center, as well as at industry trade shows and client presentations.
• Verizon employees, clients and media were excited and stimulated by the new environment and the resulting collaborations reinforced Verizon’s decisions to develop such a state-of-the-art destination.
