Vision

Since 2006, Manos Amigas has been developing fair trade tourism activities.

Because a client had a program of learning groups, we began to adapt to the needs that these groups demanded.

It consisted in picking the group up from the airport, placing them in a hotel according to the likes of the client, have them visit workshops of the products they import, and through us have a personal encounter with the artisan, learning the process of elaboration from beginning to end.

They also visit touristic sites and museums near the workshops.

Of course they have to visit Cuzco and Macchu Picchu and visit in rout workshops and try the delicious food of Peru.

PUNO

Puno is the folkloric capital of Peru. Its main attraction is Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world

(3.800 meters above sea level).

Madre de Dios: LAKE SANDOVAL3 days 2 night

Arrival in Puerto Maldonado (Capital of Biodiversity of Peru)Day 1. Reception at the airport or bus station for the corresponding registration.Transfer to the port where we will take the boat for an hour to our hostel - Welcome meeting with a refreshing juice of fruit from our region. Installation in our respective rooms.After a rest, you will take a walk for two hours in the dense tropical forest, guided by an expert local guide who will take you through our trails and you can see a variety of trees that can are more than five hundred years old, also, you will see some species of wild animals such as toucans, orioles, macaws, monkeys, snakes, butterflies, etc. You will have the opportunity to experience the magic of our Amazon jungle that is within TAMBOPATA NATIONAL WILDLIFE (278,000 acre of protected land). After lunch, we visit the "Monkey Island", located in front of our Lodge across the Madre de Dios River where we find different species such as the family of capuchin monkey monk living on the island and return to the lodge. At night we go in search of white alligators usually found on sandbars in the Madre de Dios River for which it will be necessary to bring a flashlight. Also, we can see the capybara the world's largest rodent that can weigh 60 kilos, back to the lodge, dinner and rest.

Madre de Dios: LAKE SANDOVAL3 days 2 night

Day 2. After breakfast we will walk 3 Km. Amid the dense rainforest and headed to Lake Sandoval (piranha habitat) one of the largest in the Tambopata National Reserve and take a walk in rowboat where we will appreciate variety birds and monkeys of different species (shansho, cormorant, jacanas, puma heron, vultures, howler monkey, monkey monk, black capuchin, tamarins and sloths). Maybe we will have a meeting with the family of giant otter (almost two meters long) that is endangered and the largest alligators registered more than 4 meters long, return to the lodge to enjoy the typical lunch. At night we will walk where we can appreciate the diversity of species of insects, amphibians, reptiles and other nocturnal animals. - Dinner and restDay 3 5.30a.m. morning will make a small hike along the Canopy Walk-Way, about 30 meters high, allowing us to appreciate nature from as high as possible, we also have a panoramic view of the Rio Madre de Dios.
