In the journey of past two decades, TMF has initiated different community relief projects to reduce poverty through education. After the deadly earthquake of October 8th, TMF was among pioneers in taking steps for rehabilitation, accommodation and education of poor orphan children. We initiated Tameer-e-Jannat Project for orphans and poor children who lost their loved ones during earthquake. Moreover, children from Swat, Dir, Malakand and South Waziristan region, who were affected from military operation (IDPs) in 2009, are also getting free education at Tameer-e-Jannat Science School (TJSS).
Now TMF has initiated again a relief program for rehabilitation and education of flood affected communities for the long term sustainability. Tameer-e-Jannat Science School, at Education City, will enroll orphan and poor children from the flood affected areas through TMF sponsorship program.

TMF has already inducted 25 youths of the age group of 15-20 years with the aim to prepare the future skilled force which can play a positive role in the rehabilitation process and support their families.
In the next phase TMF is
planing to expand this four month crash program of Technical training course in the fields of Civil and Maintenance Engineering in batches with suitable number of youths at TMIT. This will enable the youth of flood affected areas
to learn skills that are necessary and required for immediate reconstruction and infrastructure development of homes, streets and village areas. After completing this short course, these students will return back to their hometowns and will help their families and community in rebuilding their houses and initial infrastructure development.
We will be successful in our plans only if you will be our partners in rebuilding Pakistan.

Another plan of Shifa family is providing water filtration
gadgets in the flood affected areas. This effort is initiated
by observing the worst unhygienic conditions of flood

the quality of water. These filtration gadgets are capable of
filtering thousands of gallons water and each unit is
sufficient for a School, Basic Health Center or a
