Final year student Ms. Sonal Baberwal receives prestigious Dr. Kalpana Chawla International
Scholarship. Dr. Kalpana Chawala international scholarship award is given to the students having knowledge of space science. Sonal
becomes the first Indian graduate to receive this scholarship.
Since childhood sonal was fascinated about space science. While completing her graduation
in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, she has presented many papers on
space science and studies, in international conferences. Sonal is presently working as a
Research Scholar at Fatigue Countermeasures Laboratory of NASA Ames Research Centre,
California.
As a curriculum of her Masters. She is completing her part of curriculum in Space
Studies at International Space University, Strasbourg, France.
Now, after one year of the award sonal becomes one of the Board of Advisors for the
prestigious Dr. Kalpana Chawala Award.

Students' Activity
Workshop on RC Control andVoice Control RobotsA workshop cum hands on practice conducted by ENTC Department in Collaboration with MDB Electrosoft to enhance technicability of the students in the region to fulfill market needs in the field of robotics.
A workshop on RC Control and Voice Control was conducted on 21st July 2018 at Auditorium of Sipna College of Engineering and Technology, Amravati for students of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Branch.
Total 180 Students from various engineering colleges participated in the workshop. The main emphasis of the workshop was on to make students technically sound on the field of robotics. The workshop proceeded to hands on training session. In this session team of participants were provided robotic kit and other essential accessories for hands on. The workshop covered introduction to the RC control & voice control robot and programming environment. At the end of the hands on, participants have completed the projects on RC control and voice control robot and demonstrated the project.
WallmagazineA Wallmagazine is inaugurated at our department to showcase the Articles, Poems, Drawings and other such compositions of the students in the department.
A Wall magazine is a showcase of individual talents and outcome of a productive and sincere ‘Team Work’. A Wall magazine is in the form of collage giving a message. It gives a platform to showcase inherent skills in Arts and crafts as well as connect to tradition and culture by means of national and International Days. It is a handwritten magazine decorated with beautiful photo, painting, sketch and write ups. It is a medium within the educational institutions for the students to express their creativity. Wall magazine is an important means to enable the students to express their inner feelings. It also helps them in developing the positive and desirable qualities. It promotes to initiate writing tendency of students and attract their attention on current incidents. Wall magazine can also be utilized as a medium to increase interaction between students by having regular fortnight quizzes, so making it widely known. Certain topics can be discussed by regular posts on an open section.

ABOUT INSTITUTESipna Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, established in the year 1995, aims to impart higher & technical education to the enthusiastic youths and envision them for a better tomorrow.
Since its inception, SSPM has been successfully running undergraduate and postgraduate courses in emerging areas through Sipna’s Arts, Science & Commerce college, Chikhaldara and Sipna College of Engineering & Technology, Amravati, affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. We have already marched towards various Postgraduate, Management and Research Programs.
The Sipna College of Engineering & Technology (SCOET) was started in July 1999 to provide professional education to the students in the region and around. The College is located in Amravati, an educational hub of Maharashtra.
Sipna College of Engineering and technology is an unaided Engineering college approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati Maharashtra.

Considering the perceptibly heavy influence of development in Electronics of any aspects of life, thorough knowledge of Electronics is necessary for the students for their future effective contribution as practicing engineers. Keeping this in view, the laboratories of the department have a strong ethos of practice influencing theory and practical.
The Department has well equipped advanced and furnished laboratories to meet the state of art. Keeping track of the technology and to strike a balance between theory and practical applications, the latest equipments and software are made available. The adoption of collaborative learning strategies seeks to ascertain to what degree such strategies enhance student learning and persistence. In addition to core laboratories the department has research laboratory recognized by S.G.B. Amravati University, Amravati.
