A: I'm 25 years old. =]

Q: How tall are you?

A: I'm not very tall: 1.69 / 5.54 feet tall.

A: I'm a size 36 / size 8.

Q: How did you came up with your blogname:

A: My best friends call me Candy so I really wanted to add that in to

my blogname, so I started to google for quotes with Candy in it and when I found this one it was just too perfect because of my love for black and dark clothes!

Q: Is there any part of your body of something you are ashamed about?

A: I have really ugly feet! Haha! That part of my body is something I'm

definitely not proud of.

Q: Are you a party animal or do you rather stay home watching

TV on the couch?

A: I like clubbing but not on a regular basis anymore, I’ve had

that fun when I was younger and now I rather go out for a drink or to eat, chill at my girlfriends place or at mine, going shopping etc instead of clubbing!

Q: What music do you like (artists, genres)?

A: I like the music from Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Alicia

Keys, etc. That kind of stuff!

Q: Do you sport?

A: I work out in the gym! :) I try to go once a week haha! But

when I’m really in a sporty mood I’ll go two or three times in a week but that doesn’t happen that often unfortunately. ;)

Q: Who is your hero?

A: Mmm, I guess I don’t have hero. But if I should name

someone my hero it would be my dog Maddox because he always makes me feel so happy! Haha! Or maybe I should call him my crush haha!

Q: What's your favourite book?

A: I don’t read books that often. I do love to read when the sun is shining while tanning on my balcony. So in the summer I

read a lot and I can easily read a whole book in two days but I don’t really have a favourite one. I was really impressed by the Dutch book ‘Komt een vrouw bij de dokter’.

Q: How do you live your life, what’s typical you?

A: I live life the easy way, not to much drama, not to much expectations. I just want to be happy and do the things I like

and with the persons in my life. I want to laugh a lot and have people around me who make that happen. I also can really enjoy movies like Hairspray or bubbly songs like “The Spell” from Alphabeat or “All I want for Christmas” from Mariah Carey haha! I just don’t have the urge to make a career or that I have to be the best in something. I just do the things that make me happy whatever comes on my pad.

Q: Why did you start your blog?

A: I’ve started my blog because I really liked the idea to have your own space where you can posts everything and whatever

you like to share such as outfits, new finds, great looks you found on the internet, etc. And to get in touch with other girls who share the same interests in fashion!

Q: How did you get so many followers? ;-D Did you have to do something special like advertising on other websites?

A: I think that leaving comments at other blogs is the main key, that way you get your blog more exposed. And besides that I

think that photos with a good and clear view of the outfit and nice background is also great to see for your readers instead of making photos of yourself in the mirror for example.

Q: How many hours do you spend on working on your blog?

A: I'm constantly checking my email for comments haha and I try to comment on my daily reads as much as I can and

leaving comments at other blogs. I try to make photos of my outfit 2 or 3 times a week And then you have to pick out the best ones, upload them and write a post. So that takes time also!

Q: Which camera do you use for your pictures? (:

A: I use a Canon Powershot S90 which I got from my bf for my birthday!

BF, FRIENDS & FAMILY

Q: What do you prefer? A Girls night out or

quality time with your boyfriend?

A: I love to hang out with my girls, me and my bf

live together so we have lots of quality time together.

Q: For how long are you and your boyfriend

together and how have you met?

A: Me and my bf are together for three years

now, we know each other for a long time since we were going to the same school but we both were really shy but he definitely caught my eye, haha, and when we met at a barbeque 6 years later it really clicked and it didn't took long before we become a couple! :)

Q: Do your girlfriends have the same style as you

and are they into fashion?

A: My girlfriends are more in to Vans and all but they also love clothes, not as obsessed like I am but they always look really

nice and love to shop! One of them works for a clothing label where she has to design. But my style is very different.

Q: Do you girlfriends like that you are having a blog or don’t they understand why you have it?

A: They think it's great and sometimes they take a look at my blog! So that's really cool! Actually everyone who knows my

blog think it's awesome and “my mum and sister are regular visitors” Haha!

WORK WORK WORK

Q: What's your job?

A: I work for a film distribution company, which

means that we deliver movies to TV, internet providers, video stores, etc within the Benelux.

Q: What is your occupation and how do colleagues

react to your outfits? Do they find them too forward at times?

A: I work for a film distribution company which is a

family business. It's a little company so the function I have is really all around. Because it's family of course they are very honest with me when I do come to work in my ‘average’ outfit. But most of time I just throw something on because they couldn't care less what I'm wearing so I don't have the urge to pay a lot of time in to a working outfit haha! I’d rather stay in bed for as long as possible. :P

Q: Do you work a lot? A: I work full time so 5 days a week, 8 hours a day!

Q: What did you study at the University?

A: I didn't finish my study - which was an education how to work with children who are disabled or teenage mothers –

because it just wasn’t what I was looking for.

Q: Why did you dropped out of school this young? And have you ever regret that decision?

A: I began working when I was 18 and of course that wasn’t the most perfect circumstances but at that moment it was my

only option because school didn't worked out because I really had no idea what I wanted to do with my life career wise. So the plan was to go to work at my family business for a couple of days and see how things go. But things worked out really great and I work there for seven years now! I do not regret it because I still have no clue what my dream job would be so until then I will be working for my family.

Q: I was wondering if you wear the outfits you show on your blog to your job such as the studded bracelets, leather pants

etc.. Because I thought that I’ve seen pictures of you at an office.

A: I've never showed a photo of me at work, I think you have seen the photos in our little office room at home! But I could

easily wear my leather trousers, studded bracelets etc to work but that's because I work with my family so they don't mind!

Q: I was wondering what kind of job you have and what’s appropriate to wear to work because in two weeks I will start my

internship.

A: When I go to the office I just wear whatever I feel like but that's because I have the right circumstances for it. But every

office is different and some are really informal and others not so just wear a safe look where you can’t go wrong with like tailored trousers with a blouse or blazer and just look what the people around you wear and that way you can look what's appropriate at that company. But I can definitely recommend you to not wear leather look trousers, ripped/shredded jeans or bodycon skirts! Haha!

BEAUTY

Q: Do you always put on smoky eye makeup everyday? Or is that for special

occasion only?

A: On a normal workday I leave the house without any make up on, I'm just

too lazy haha and I work with family so it doesn't matter what I look like, I can come to work in my pyjamas and there still going to be fine with it haha! So, the smoky eye make up is when I leave the house in my free time so not really for special occasions or something but I just love to get dressed up and I think make up really finishes an outfit!

Q: Can you do a video tutorial on make up? And show us step by step what

products you use and how you apply it on using what tools (brush # and brand etc) and then we get to watch and see the process BEGINNING to END :D A: I’m going to work on it! So stay tuned! ;)

Q: How do you take care of your hair? Looks healthy and shiny...

A: Well thank you! ;) I actually don’t do anything special with it. I do wash

it with a special shampoo for brunettes so that my own colour (it’s not dyed – I get that question a lot!) will not fade. And that really works, I haven’t dyed my hair in 4 years or so.

Q: How did you grow your hair so long and beautiful? Any secrets?!!

A: I dislike hairdresser’s haha I stay as long as I can away from them and

that's why my hair is so long because I refuse to go to the hairdresser! ;) And I love my long hair so when I do go they only may cut a little inch! :P

Q: I would like to know which products you use for your hair. It looks so

pretty!!

A: That always changes, but I only use hairspray so that can be from

L’óreal, Garnier, etc but I still have to find the perfect hairspray.

FASHION Q: What inspires you? Who are your fashion icons?

A: Other bloggers inspire me só much! I really love the styles

from BLEED FOR FASHION, Nini's Style & CHICMUSE. They could pretty much be my style icon! =)

Q: Which one is your fav Dutch blogger?

A: That's a really hard question, but if I think it would Mode-

Rosa. She is super gorgeous and her style is amazing! (you can find these bloggers in my daily reads list)

Q: Who are your three biggest celebrity style icons?

A: I really love the style of Olivia Palermo, Taylor Momsen and

Zoe Kravitz.

Q: I love your blog! My question to you is: how many pairs of

shoes do you own?

A: Mmmm, not that many! But now I haveeee *counting* 22 pair

of shoes (without the sandals). I only have shoes that I really wear because I want my shoe collection to be update so I sell the pairs that I haven't wore in awhile so I can buy more new ones! ;)

Q: How much do you spend on clothes a month?

A: It depends but I try to keep it up to 300 / 400 euros and sometimes it can be 500 / 600 euros. So that’s different every

month. Sometimes I spend more because I sold a lot and sometimes I spend less because I have more bills to pay than normal.

Q: What's your favorite store for clothes?! A: ZARA!

Q: What are the must haves for this summer according to you. A: I think that I'm definitely going to wear lot’s of maxi dresses, denim shorts, harem pants with prints like animal prints and

hopefully lot’s of colours! :P

Q:“Why don't you wear bright colors? I love your black&white outfits though”

A: It’s just not me, I think it’s beautiful on other girls but not too much on me

however. But when I do find a gorgeous piece in a beautiful colour which fits with my style I don’t doubt for a second to buy it but unfortunately that doesn’t happen very often.

Q: You always wear the same jewellery, bracelets, rings why is that? Do you

ever take them of?

A: Haha! I really have no idea why that is! I have the same with bags, I always

have my favourites! I know it’s really weird!

Q: I have a question for you, you always stay to one specific style what are

you going to do when leather pants and punk rock is out of style?

A : I already had a weakness for leather jackets before the leather leggings

came along. So maybe I will say goodbye to the leather leggings one day, but never to the leather jackets. And my looks will always contain a little rock chic because my style is really female but always with an edge.

Q:: What did you wear before you

went blogging?

A: Before blogging I pretty much wore

the same style of clothes, the only thing that did changed is that I had the courage to wear my heels more in daily life accept only when I would go out or out for dinner. Now I wear my heels everyday and if they have a platform or a peep toe or whatever that makes them special I don’t think ‘oh how would they react in my city if I would wear these shoes?’ Because pretty much my whole city wear flat shoes and basic clothes so at first I didn't felt that comfortable wearing really high heels because they would attract so many attention, but now I just wear what I love. And if you go to my first posts on my blog you can see that my style hasn't really changed that much! :)

Q: I was wondering, what are you

going to do when leather, studs and blazers are not a trend anymore? Or maybe I just have to follow your blog to see ;P

A: Haha, I think you do! ;) No, I really

have no idea how that is going to develop. Of course leather will not leave my closet because I've always been crazy over leather jackets and that hasn't been replaced for blazers or anything, blazers have just been added! ;) And studs, I already only wear my studded cuff and that's pretty much it I guess. :)

Q: Hi girl, congratulations, the best blog in the world! Question, if you had the money, would you buy real leather pants, or

do you like the leather look better? I noticed everything else is real leather (shoes, boots, bags, jackets) except for the pants/leggings.

A: It isn't really the case of having the money for it or not, it's more that I've never bumped in to a real leather

leggings/pants and I didn't really searched for it either because I really like the leather look versions as well. And I'm a bit afraid that it would look to much biker girl when it's real leather because I often wear my leather jackets with the leather look trousers.

Q: What’s your go to outfit when all else fails?

A: Currently destroyed jeans, Converse All Stars sneakers and a bf blazer! :)
