The Executive Masters of Business Administration (EMBA) is an 18 month cohort-basedMBA that serves the needs of leadership in both for-pro�t and not-for-pro�torganizations. Candidates with at least 5 years of management experience, whoseek to further their leadership e�ectiveness, enhance their ability to integratebusiness disciplines, and advance their managerial skills are best served byour EMBA program. The convenient schedule and state-of-the-art facilitymakes this educational experience accessible to busy professionals.The EMBA program is key to the talent management e�orts ofsuccessful organizations.

Courses are offered every other week (twice monthly) all day Friday and Saturday, with two courses completed every five sessions.Students engage the MBA coursework with peers who have similar management and business leadership experience.

Classes are held at the UTEP Graduate Business Center in Downtown El Paso. Each EMBA cohort is kept purposefully small to maximize meaningful discourse and networking. The curriculum consists of a 48 credit hour program that includes 33 credit hours of MBA core courses and

Unique characteristics designed specifically for the EMBA:

An International Research Course is conducted over a week-long international field study.

15 credit hours of specialized EMBA electives.Students who successfully complete the program earn a Master of Business Administration degree.

Online Application for Admission (available at mba.utep.edu).Official transcript from an accredited institution demonstrating completion of a four-year Bachelor’s degree(or equivalent in the case of an international institution) and official transcripts from all colleges oruniversities attended. Official transcripts for degrees earned at UTEP are not required.

Two letters of reference from professional and/or academic sources (One letter of support from current

International applicants whose undergraduate degree was delivered in a language other than english arerequired to submit TOEFL scores of at least 250/600.Applicants will be interviewed by MBA Program staff as part of the evaluation process.
