Transnational meeting in Geel –Belgium 2nd Day 17 November 2016

On Thursday, 17th November 2016 the Italian and Belgian teachers met again at 8:30 at Kogeka School. The activities that needed to be done in the partners’ schools and also the meetings with the students during the 2 years of the program were also presented in details and were clarified. - Facebook page: will be made by Italy; - E-twinning project: will be made by Italy; - WhatsApp groups: one for teachers, one for students; - Profile students/teachers – Belgium will send an example; - Final products: a cookery book

The measures from the application form were reviewed and responsibilities and tasks were assigned. After a coffee break, we have moved on to the topic: - Monitoring and evaluation: we will use evaluation forms to

evaluate the meeting (google-docs for students, host families and teachers) – Italy will provide an example of their form;

- Dissemination: we must try to make our project visible, not only for students, parents but also promote on our school website, local press, newspapers, radio and/or television, online platforms (Erasmus+, etwinning, …), social networks (Facebook, Instagram…).

The meeting ended after the last managerial issues – financial questions were discussed: - airport transfer: to be paid by the visiting school –the Italian school needs an e-invoice from the bus company; for the Belgian school an invoice

from the Italian school is OK; - activities outside of the school (visits, etc. ): an estimation has to be send before the visit, with all details and copy of the invoices, if possible; - activities in school: will be paid by the receiving school. At the end of the meeting there was a guided sightseeing tour of Antwerp which was organized by the Kogeka school. The aim of this guided tour was to highlight the most outstanding periods of the Belgian history for the Italian guests and help them understand Flanders roots and position in Europe. The following day the groups of Italian teachers departed. Everyone was satisfied of the meeting and of the valuable common goal to be reached for the students’ development and the improvement of each institution.
