Dec 19, 2011 The Technica ls & Fundamenta ls are m ixed as ranges c ont inue

With two weeks to go in 2011, the major equity averages have mixed daily, weekly and monthly

chart profiles, and nine sectors are undervalued fundamentally with seven overvalued. Thissetup favors a trading range environment into 2012. The risk is to the downside and lowercloses this week and next will result in negative daily, weekly and monthly charts. Thisscenario is my leading reason to forecast that we will not test the 2011 highs in 2012. I will nothave upside potential risky levels or downside value levels until January 3 rd when a new yearof trading begins. The December 30th year end close will set new weekly, monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual value levels, risky levels and pivots. In 2011 we had some key annualpivots that were magnets tested several times, most notably; 11,491 Dow Industrials, 1210.7SPX, 2335 was tested at the low of 2298.89 on October 4th for the NASDAQ, 5179 DowTransports prevented a breakout after a new all time high of 5627.85 on July 7 th, and theRussell 2000 was pulled down by 784.16 after its new all time high of 868.57 set on May 2nd.

10-Year Note (1.851) Semiannual, quarterly and annual value levels are 2.414, 2.669 and 2.690with the 50-day simple moving average at 2.062, daily and weekly risky levels at 1.816 and 1.826, andsemiannual and monthly risky levels at 1.672 and 1.602.
