GLISSON GROW DAY

CAMPS

JULY 5-8 for RISING 1ST-6TH GRADE (only 45 spots available!)

We are excited to announce that this summer our church will be partnering with Camp Glisson and hosting one of

their local day camps here at the church. Grow Day

Camps partners with children’s ministries to bring the flavor of

summer camp to local churches. Our mission is for each camper to grow

deeper roots in their faith (grow spiritually), to grow in their ability to work as a team (grow socially), and to grow in self-confidence as a

loved child of God (grow individually).

For more information and to register online visit NGUMC.org/GROW or contact Brooke

Barksdale ([email protected])

EXPERIENTIAL LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

As a part of our Grow Day Camps

experience, we are also excited to announce an

opportunity for our rising 11th grade through college freshman students to apply and grow

in faith through the ELI program at Camp Glisson. The Experiential Leadership Institute is a chance for upper high school students to grow in faith, develop as leaders, and make a

difference. Our sponsors’ support of this unique program means that we can offer ELI’s intense leadership development week and 1 to

8 weeks serving as a day camp counselor with continued mentorship while practicing

leadership skills.

Applications are being accepted and interview events are coming up in April and

May.

Visit NGUMC.org/ELI for more info and to apply today or contact Brooke Barksdale

([email protected]).
