Bikaner, February 20, 2017 Dr. SN Bajaj, Chairman University Society, RNBGlobal University launched its new on campus radio station, RNB VOICE. Withthis launch RNBGU has become the first University in this region to have itsown radio station. The faculty and students alike cheered the RJ’s on as theyopened the show with infectious energy and a bounty of style.The inaugural ceremony commenced with the Hon’ble Chief Guest Dr. SN Bajajseeking the blessings of our revered Founder Late Sethji Jaganathji Bajaj bygarlanding his statue. The Hon’ble Chief Guest was then accompanied to theRadio Room where he graced the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to inaugurate theon-campus radio station. The Hon’ble Chief Guest turned on the radio andeveryone was treated to the devotional splendor of Ganesh Vandana. Heappreciated the innovation and enthusiasm of the students with regards toRNB Voice and encouraged them to keep up the good work.This was followed by the recorded speech by none other than HonorableChairman Dr. Ram Bajaj. In his address Dr Ram Bajaj asserted that RNBGUbeing a pioneer educational institution in this region has visualized such aninitiative to help students improve and increase their confidence,communication skills and expression in order to develop holistically. BIKANER, February 1 2017 Students of RNB Global University, Commerce discipline watched the livetelecast of the Presentation of Union Budget in the Parliament – 2017 by the Hon'ble Finance Minister ShriArun Jaitely.Mr. Rajiv Gupta (Assistant Professor, Finance) prior to the telecast highlighted the key points that studentsshould concentrate on specifically to understand the Budget-2017 well and connect it with their curriculumespecially with subjects like Tax Economics. He also discussed the reason for presenting the budget on 1stFebruary instead of March this year.

DISTRICT COURT VISIT BY LAW STUDENTS OF RNB GLOBAL UNIVERSITYBikaner, 11thFebruary, 2017 The students of Law of RNB Global University visited the District Court on11th Feb 2017. As a university, we aim to provide an education system where students can learn from theoriesas well as practical knowledge from real case studies, Moot Court sessions, visit to court and law firms. 15students along with the faculty of School of Law visited to District Court, the visit was full of information forthe students of law. Students got live exposure to the judicial process of the court with a bench-barrelationship. It gave a practical and theoretical knowledge regarding all those laws one reads in the law books.

He shared his views on InterviewTechniques & Career Planning.Bikaner, 15th February 2017 The students ofB.Sc-II semester, RNB Global University visited twoNational Research Institutes i.e., the arid campus ofthe Central Sheep & Wool Research Institute(CSWRI) and Central Institute of Arid Horticulture(CIAH). The main objective of the visit was toacquaint the students with the research activitiesgoing on this part of the arid region of Rajasthanusing advanced technological instruments withlimited available resources.

Dr. A K Patel explained to the students the work ofCSWRI through a short movie. Later they were alsotaken to the farm and shown the entrepreneurialopportunity available in these fields andencouraged them to think of taking up suchinitiatives in future.Bikaner, February 15, 2017 School of Law of RNBGlobal University conducted the 2nd Inter-departmental Moot Court Competition in the CampusMoot Court Hall. Although the case study dealt withIndian Penal Code 1860 and Indian Evidence Act 1872comprising the sections 34, 120A, 304B, 300 and 113A and B of Evidence Act. The session in progress wasnot on “Bride Burning” but focused on the argumentsbetween parties containing proper evidence and proofto make a valid session. The Judges for the proceedingwere Dr. Hans Raj Arora and Dr. Mahendra Gadholiya.The winners were Yashpal/Arif Khan as Mooters andKomalata Bhargava as their researcher. The runnersup team were, Divya Tulsiyani and team followed asby Mukund Rathore and team securing the thirdposition.

Mr Sarda began with theelaboration of the company Capital One.. Heexplained the concepts of Essentialism andFungibility to the students quoting examples fromhis experience. Focussing further on essentialismand fungibility, Mr. Sarda discussed about theessential requirements for being an entrepreneur ora business professional and the flexibility requiredin performing a job.

Bikaner, February 18 2017 Financial Modelling is avery important aspect for student pursuing a careerin the financial world. Mr. Manoj Agarwal, Advisor tothe Managing Director of Nissan Motors India Pvt.Ltd. delivered a special lecture on Financial Modelingto the students of BBA-IV and MBA-II. He emphasizedthe need and importance of career orientation duringthe early years of academic learning. In the end manystudents raised queries after the lecture which hepacified. Bikaner, February 22, 2017 Mr. Faisal Nafees, a young entrepreneur delivered a lecture onentrepreneurship to the students of BBA-IV and B.Com-IV. Students participated enthusiastically in theinteractive session of the lecture which lasted for over one hour. Mr. Nafees delved deep on becoming anentrepreneur and the qualities and characteristics of an entrepreneur. Dr. Nitin Pathak was the coordinator ofthe special lecture while Dr. Chattar Singh presided over the interactive session.

BASKET BALL MATCH - RNBGU VS BIKANER BOY'S SCHOOL

Bikaner, 23rd Feb-2017: On the day of the match both teams reached the Basket Ball Court in themorning with full enthusiasm oblivious of the sun peaking and raising the day’s temperature. TheRNBGU team was led by Nikhil Kumar Bihani, Student MBA IV Semester and the visiting teamfrom Bikaner Boy’s School was led by Himanshu Bhargava, student of Class XII. Both the team playersintroduced themselves with great excitement. Mr. Amit Panwar and Mr. Manoj Tiwari, PTI BikanerBoy’s School acted as referees for the match. The match began with each player trying to outscore theopponent team’s player.

The audience applauded every move of the players as their heartbeats escalated with each ball goinginto the basket! Although the match was being played in the middle of the day there was a good turnout of students to show their support to their favorite team. Deputy Registrar Dr. Saraswat personallycheered on the RNBGU team as well as encouraged the visiting Bikaner Boys High School team. It was agreat match between two equally pepped up teams. There was stiff competition and the guessing wason as to who will win this till the end. The host won the match. The participants truly enjoyed thismatch at this well- equipped sporting avenue-Basket Ball Court in RNBGU campus.

While each year the National Science day has a set theme, this year the theme was, “Science andTechnology for the Specially Abled Persons’. At RNBGU to commemorate this day, the School of Basic andApplied Sciences and School of Engineering & Technology, organized a Science Quiz Competition in itscampus.
