churches -these larger churches are called Cathedrals

Cathedrals spread across the world-started spreading through

Europe first

Women in the Eyes of the Church

Women and men were equal before god

It was decided that women needed men-Men saw women as weak and

gullible

Women were punished more harshly than men-Whipped or prison
