Navigating New SpacesLORDS Little Wonders Kindergarten children’s interest in space and space travel was extended through a visit from Hilary and Belinda from Gilmour Space Technologies.

After building a rocket at their Creek Street, Pimpama factory recently, this local company is now in Western Queensland for the launch.

After investigating the Gilmour Space Technologies website and watching clips of a past launch, some staff from Gilmour Space were invited to visit the Kindy. Hilary and Belinda spoke about space, space travel, rockets, planets, gravity, rocket fuel and more.

The children were excited to watch a balloon-powered mini-rocket fly across the classroom when the air was released. We have enjoyed building our community connections with this local business.
