Greeting my beautiful orchids,
As you know, the service year is sadly coming to an end. [insert vari-
ous Facebook Messenger stickers of crying and overall sadness] This
means that the current board will be stepping down from their places and
offering them to a new amazing board that you guys have chosen! It’s
bittersweet really, I really really really loved being the EHTHS Key
Club Editor and I also learned a lot, but all good things must come to an
end. I leave The Key Chain in the very capable hands of your new Bulle-
tin Editor because I know she/he will be very successful and make a lot
of great improvements. (I’m gonna try to keep this really vague so you
can read about who exactly is the new Bulletin Editor on page 5 haha-
hah). Although this is technically my last newsletter that will be printed
for a Key Club meeting, I will be posting a special Farewell Edition on
my ISSUU page. You can access all of my newsletters and other things
at www.issuu.com/sadiaalam. I hope you all check out the Farewell
newsletter for there will be many heartfelt words and overall sadness
because we’re all leaving :( . Anyway, in this newsletter you will find the
board of 2015-2016 and also a whole page dedicated to our new LTG,
and soon-to-be immediate past president, Kenneth Ye! Cus who wouldn't
want a whole page dedicated to Kenneth? (Actually a lot of people but
let’s disregard that for the excitement of having this page.) Okay this is
getting very long and I must save some last words for the Farewell Edi-
tion so I shall see you all in the very near future working hard to make
our community the best that it can be! It was an honor to be the EHTHS
Key Club Bulletin Editor and I love all of you guys and hope you en-
joyed my many, many, bad jokes.. Remember to keep caring and to stay
cool! -Sadia Alam, Bulletin Editor

.Just when I thought Key Club couldn't get any better, they went ahead and
made the District Convention theme this year HARRY POTTER. HOW AWE-
SOME IS THAT?!?!?!? I hope you all are as excited as I am as this is my first
DCon and Harry Potter is involved. Remember to pack your robes and your
broomsticks to discover the magic of service!

PRESIDENT’S LETTER
Dear fellow Key Clubbers, It is the ending of the 2014-2015 service
year, and I would like to thank everyone for their hard work and
cooperation throughout the entire year. It has been quite chal-
lenging and stressful this past service year, but we finally got
through it all! Thank you for everyone’s contribution to the club
because it really could not have been done without you guys.
This will be my last Club Presidential message in the newsletter,
and it has been my pleasure to be a part of this club. Thank you
to all the General members for constantly signing up for our pro-
jects and dedicating your time into community service. Our club
could not have been run without everyone participating in our
projects and showing up to our meetings. Thank you to our Com-
mittee Chair members and Officer Board this service year as well
for constantly finding projects and aiding in planning events. It
was everyone’s help that made this a successful service year,
and I could not be any happier to have been your Club Presi-
dent for the 2014-2015 service year. It was my honor to have
worked with such a great student body that is so passionate for
service, and I want to express my gratitude to everyone. With my
term ending as Club President, I will continue my efforts and work
even harder as your new Lieutenant Governor of Division 2. I
hope that everyone finishes strong for this school year, and I
would like to wish the best of luck to the new 2015-2016 Officer
Board!
Your Club President & LTG-Elect,

Congratulations to the new 2015-2016 board! This board already has so many great ideas for the
2015-2016 service year, I can already tell that it will be one of the best service years ever! Also, kudos
to all of you who ran, but didn't get the position. Remember, this was also a learning experience that
will help you in the future! And if you’re an underclassmen, there’s always next year! These are the
new officers for just our EHTHS Key Club but there are also leadership opportunities at the District and
International level. I look forward to a year filled with great service and many enthusiastic Key Club-
bers. Remember to tell all of your incoming freshman friends/family/next-door-neighbor-that-doesn't-
really-like-you-but-you-still-talk-to-them-because-of-their-cute-dog about how great Key Club is and
how great the board is! I wish all of the new board a great service year and I’m 110% sure that they
will carry on our school’s legacy of having the best Key Club ever!
