Nickelodeon Hotel, OrlandoJune 25-28, 2008

Kaley’s mom took Kaley to the Nick Hotel in Orlando for her birthday. Unfortunately, Kaley’s dad couldn’t go with them because he was home sick with the flu. The girls made the best of it and had a great time! Kaley’s mom surprised her on her birthday morning with the Characther Breakfast, where she met Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick and Squidward!

The Kelly’s spent 4 days basking in the sun on Sanibel Island this past June. Their beach vacation really started one day earlier in Orlando, where they celebrated their good friend’s 40th birthday. After the surprise party, they headed west to Sanibel. The weather was absolutely perfect while they were there. They found seashells, several starfish, watched dolphin swim by them in the ocean and ate lots of seafood! The Kelly’s always enjoy their time near the ocean!

Fall in VermontOctober 2-6, 2008

Amy & her best friend Kristin spent nearly five glorious days in Vermont to witness the peak fall season. They stayed at the Village Victorian B&B in Morrisville, VT.

Some of the highlights of their trip were driving up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire, the highest peak in the Northeast at 6,288 ft; hiking Mt. Mansfield, the highest peak in Vermont at 4,393 ft; visiting the Calvin Coolidge Homestead in Plymouth Notch, Vermont and picking/eating apples right off the tree at the Chapin Orchard in Essex, Vermont...these are just a few of the awesome activities that the girls did while visiting Vermont. They thought that the scenery was so GORGEOUS that they are planning another trip next year!

Thanksgiving 2008

The Kelly’s had a wonderful and very busy Thanksgiving holiday! Steve’s sister Karin and their two nieces, Meagan and Shelby, were here visiting from North Carolina. Meagan was Aunt Amy’s cooking assistant and helped bake 4 pies, brine the turkey and make several side dishes!

The Kelly’s tried to fit in as many activities in 4 days as humanly possible. Some of the activities they enjoyed were a visit to the Everglades, Pinecrest Gardens, Matheson Hammock, The Falls, Build A Bear, Coconut Grove, Scotty’s Landing & The Big Cheese...just to name a few.

Shelby & Kaley even had time to build a wonderful gingerbread house! They can’t wait to do it all over again next year!

A Visit With Amy’s FamilyNovember 30, 2008

Kaley and her mom spent the Sunday after Thanksgiving with Amy’s mom, grandma, Aunt Debbie and Aunt Peggy. Kaley opened some early Christmas presents and even made her first potholder with her Great Aunt Debbie! They had a nice lunch together and then spent an hour or so looking through old slides of family and days gone by.
