RULES & REGS CORNER GROUNDS CORNER

Rules & Regs Committee The Facilitators

Some residents have inquired as to how our committee works. Here is a

brief synopsis of the process: The committee generally consists of five members, each one responsible for a specific area of The Isles. These representatives observe their areas

and report any issues that may need to be addressed. These items, plus those that may have been raised by residents, are dis-cussed at the meetings which are open to all residents. Our guides are the rules & regulations documents of The Isles. After a fair and common sense assessment, any violations that need correction are turned over to Man-

ager Will Crosley to resolve in a courteous and friendly manner. We will be in need of new members for 2016. If you would like to contribute your time and perform a valuable service for your community, please complete the com-

mittee membership form contained in the newsletter.

The next R&R Committee Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 1/19 @ 9:00 in the card

Updates from ValleyCrest Companies December 2015

I hope all of you had precious time together with family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving. December is my favorite month, Christ-mas is a special day to enjoy with people close to you and pass

along a little kindness to everyone. The weather has been extreme with temperatures reaching into the 90’s. The temperatures along with irrigation and some light natural rains have caused a flurry of flush growth in the turf and

shrubs. The growth has caused much of the turf damaged by chinch bug to recover, but there are many areas that still need replaced. This

work will be done the week of Thanksgiving. Many of you met Chris Crawford at the landscape committee meeting and he will directly supervising mowing and detail crews. He will be directly working with the scheduling and efficiency of crews in the field along with taking care of work orders with Mi-

guel. The team at ValleyCrest would like to wish everybody a safe and

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year! ValleyCrest takes pride in maintaining your lawn and landscape and appreciates your loyalty.

Casey’s Plumbing & Backflow

Sarasota County will be checking your Backflow unit to

see if it has been inspected. Isles management requested proposals from various ven-dors in the area that perform this service. Casey’s plumb-ing and backflow provided the most competitive price reflecting $24 for the testing of the backflow preventer to

Isles residents. Casey’s Plumbing and Backflow is a family owned and operated business serving the community since 1972. We are committed to excellence and Customer Service is our # 1 priority. They provide full service to the back-flow preventer with annual testing, repair and replace-ment. The backflow preventer safe guards the public drinking water supply from unintentional contamination by preventing unwanted sub-stances from entering the distribution system. Over a period of time the inner working parts of the backflow device wear out and require repair or replace-ment. If the device fails the annual inspection, the home-owner is responsible for the repair/replacement of the device. The result of each backflow test is noted on our own invoice which will be left at each homeowner’s door in a Casey’s Plumbing Tote bag. Each passing backflow will receive a tag and all results will be forwarded imme-diately to Sarasota County Utilities. To order your an-nual backflow test, please call our office at (941)739-

6582. We look forward to serving you. All residents may elect their own service provider, this information was provided as a useful tool for residents to

have their backflow inspected. Thank you, Isles Management
