The causes of the war in Iraq?

The war began in March 2003. The main cause was because The Bush Administration was trying to link the terrorist attack on the twin towers on September 11th 2001 and the bombing of the pentagon to Saddam Husain (Dictator of Iraq).

President Bush sent thousands of troops into Iraq looking for Saddam Husain and causing a riot of the Iraqi civilians and the very little and bad economy/ lives they did have. After this Saddam was no where to be found after leaving his country and going missing like he had done multiple times in his leading of the Baath party and over throwing the government for years.

As a result to the Bush administration sending troops into Iraq, 3,000 troops have died and 20,000 have been wounded.

Iraq is on the brink of a civil war, there are hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians have died.

With the Iraqi’s power decreasing and their country tumbling into ruins from the war the Iranian people and leaders are taking advantage, they have more on a steady economy and are beginning to take over the place of power. And the U.S military is decreasing in power and is making all the wrong decisions.

The total cost of the Iraq war so far since 2001 is…

The United states and its coalition allies are caretakers for the Iraqi government for now until the Iraqi transitional government is formed and working effectively and in order. The troops of coalition countries and America will stay in Iraq until a government has taken place in the running of the country. In the new government, Jalal

Talabani will still remain the president.

De Ba’athificaion of the Iraqi culture

• Looting and arson have destroyed most of the Iraq nation and taken away cultural and historical monuments since 2003.

• The chaos and damage done to the Iraqi culture has taken a tole but they are rebuilding and having new history written under Baath motifs and history of the country.

• All of the leaders and important people in the Iraqi government are taken out of power and there really Is no official government or leader or order.

א As of now about 6,000 American troops have been killed since 2003

א Around 1000 troops have been killed in Afghanistan.
