To be able to takt the motorized growth, Ruter has to plan for the double amount of trips in 2030.
Many different actions are nessecary to take.The suggested actions needed, are presented in the strategic document K2012.
Climate neutral before 2020
How to reach this goal - procurement of certifiedrenewable electricity and use of biofuels, insteadof fossile diesel and gass.

GoalProduction, infrastructure and use of hydrogen, as a new and environmental friendly fuel, for the public transport in the Oslo-region.
Objectives
Establish necessary infrastructure and production of hydrogen at, or near, a fillingstation. Production based on electrolyse technic.
Try out hydrogen as fuel in fuel cell busses, in the publictransport in Oslo and Akershus.
Built competance around hydrogen as fuel, among users, localauthorities and the inhabitants.

The fuel cells are fitted to the first bus and tested with nitrogen. It went OK.
