The Guest by Lladró Atelier es una invitación a artistas punteros de todo el mundo a dar una personalidad distintiva a un original personaje de porcelana. El resul-tado son unas espectaculares creaciones de serie limi-tada y numerada, hechas a mano por los artesanos de Lladró en Valencia (España) y que reflejan el universo particular de cada artista colaborador.

The Guest by Lladró Atelier project invites celebrated artists to give this creation a distinctive personality. The results are spectacular limited edition and numbered pieces, handmade and hand painted by Lladró artists in Valencia (Spain), which reflect the personal world of each collaborating artist.

Rolito es un diseñador de personajes, ilustrador y director de arte con base en Europa. La primera versión de su sitio web personal, Rolitoland -un microcosmos animado con flash, en donde Rolito mostraba su singular mundo imaginario- le valió un gran número de premios y aplausos en festivales de todo el mundo. Su creciente interés por el diseño de personajes y juguetes inspiró su primer juguete: el novedoso Rolitoboy, al que siguieron otras nuevas y originales líneas. En 2006 inició una colaboración con Sony Japan que desembocó en la creación de Patapon, un videojuego de base beat aclamado por la crítica. Rolito is a character designer, illustrator and art director based in Europe. Gary Baseman (Los Ángeles, 1960) es un artista muy polifacético: pintor, ilustrador, artista de vídeo y de performance, animador, productor de cine y televisión, diseñador de juguetes y comisario de exposiciones. Es el diseñador de Cranium, el juego de mesa superventas, y el creador de “Teacher’s Pet”, una serie de animación que le ha valido tres premios Emmy y BAFTA y llevó a la revista Entertainment Weekly a incluir a Baseman en su lista de “personajes más creativos”.
