Advanced Tissue Graft Pivotal Trial: More Effective Than Conventional Therapy

Conventional therapy consisted of surgical debridement, saline gauze and total off-loading2

aThe average number of Apligraf applications received per patient during the study period was 3.9 (minimum of 1, maximum of 5). This study was not designed to determine the necessary number of applications to achieve complete wound closure. DFU patients received up to 5 applications over 4 weeks. – Frequency and severity of AE was similar in both treatment groups

– NPWT patients were less than a fourth as likely as control to need a second amputation
