Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to MYSIR 2013.
We are proud to introduce the Malaysian Society of Interventional Radiology (MYSIR) which was ofcially registered in 2012. Its humble beginning as a Special Interest Group has now progressed to a full-edged society. In conjunction with the ofcial launching of the society, MYSIR is also conducting its inaugural annual scientic meeting.
MYSIR has chosen peripheral vascular disease as its main focus in its rst two years of inception, primarily due to the diabetes epidemic that is prevalent in Malaysia and the burden of peripheral vascular disease and diabetic foot.
We are proud to present world-renowned speakers from various countries as well as a distinguished local and regional faculty with extensive expertise in their respective elds, to share their experience in these dynamic and interactive sessions. New treatment strategies and new concepts in management will be highlighted.
MYSIR is passionate about creating a multidisciplinary approach towards addressing peripheral vascular disease and the diabetic foot, bringing to you a programme that encompasses every aspect of this disease and allowing you to network with individuals who are leaders in this eld.
We are sure that you will enjoy the conference.
Looking forward to seeing you in Kuala Lumpur!
