Talladega features concerts
with popular singers and
performers at each race
weekend. Best of all, the
concerts are included in
your race ticket price!
At each race, drivers introduce
themselves at fan singings, special
events, in the back of a truck
going around the track, and of
course, right before they start
their engines!
Many fans decide to camp in
an RV or tent during race
weekend. These fans enjoy
the parties, food, beer, and
other crazy things going on
around the track!
One of the best parts of a race is
the pit stop. Every team has a
professional crew that works on
the car in seconds. Drivers can
gain or lose positions during a
stop, and maybe the race.
The final laps are very exciting
at Talladega. Often, there are
last minute passes, car wrecks,
and some very fast speeds!
Make sure the race finishes
under green, or the fans will
be angry and unhappy!
Nothing is better than seeing
the big one that happens at
mostly every race. The big
one involves many cars
wrecking, and sometimes,
some crazy ways a car wrecks!
And yes, you see some drivers
angry and unhappy.
Speeds at Talladega are
very fast! To limit the
fast speeds, every car has
restrictor plates. But the
car designs have gotten
better, so expect speeds
at around 200 mph!
The finish has occurred at Talladega,
and one driver and their pit crew are
happy, because they survived and
won at Talladega! For the other
drivers, they either survived or
wrecked. See you at the next
