The company is developing a family activity and entertainment center: “Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone Dino Island”. The center is based upon a proven model found in many resort- destination markets throughout the country, i.e. family oriented, outdoor/indoor activities, fun for all ages, along with “hot eats” and “cool treats”. However, unlike any other, this center will offer a unique combination of attraction as described in this presentation.
OKALOOSA ISLAND PROPERTY Located across the street from the pristine beaches of Okaloosa Island, the OI Property will feature “Wild Willy’s Adventure Zone Dino Island”, which is a unique dinosaur themed park, combining prehistoric elements and modern entertainment.
In 2012 Wild Willy’s proposed to Okaloosa county to be a $1.5 investment on county property. Now with over a $7 Million budget, Wild Willy’s will truly be a destination attraction.
The center will be equipped with a state of the art point of sale system. By offering a point redemption system, the hassle of paying a fee at each venue will be eliminated. When a patron enters the park they will have a choice of point packages to purchase, including value packs. The patron will receive a barcoded card called the “Wild Card”. Each attraction will be equipped with scanners to remove the designated amount of points. The Wild Card can be recharged and also sold as party packages, including an entitlement feature. This allows an individual to purchase customized packages. For example, a birthday party could purchase a meal, a ropes course challenge, and a bungee jump. This would allow each child to redeem those particular options in a coordinated effort.
Patrons will still have the option to pay cash or credit card for any food or retail items in the event they did not want to participate in any of the attractions.
Wild Willy’s will feature a 60’ tall state of the art steel ropes course themed like a “Jurassic jungle”.
Wild Willy’s will feature a custom made Dino theme laser shooting gallery. A variety of targets will move if shot by a laser.
Taking the Dino adventure to the course, patrons can play one of two miniature golf courses. Fully equipped with state of the art animatronic life like dinosaurs, Hatchling Haven is a 9-hole course geared towards a younger crowd. It will feature a variety of holes equipped with motion activated effects such as baby dinosaurs. The Dig Site is an 18-hole course geared towards children and adults alike. It will feature a dig site theme with everything from dynamite plungers that can be pressed to create an explosion in the lagoon to prop jeeps that rev their engines and generate steam blasts when a ball is picked up from a hole, just to name a few. Also, custom made artificial dinosaur bones will be placed on a number of greens as obstacles to complete the Dino theme.
Keeping the Dino theme, Wild Willy’s will feature a bungee trampoline attraction fabricated to look like four Pterodactyl nests. Each pole of the structure will have a custom made sail with graphics to look like baby Pterodactyls jumping about.
Wild Willy’s will feature two giant dinosaur themed inflatables. The Jurassic Zoo is an oversized bounce house with slides that children of all ages can enjoy. The Raptor Slide is a 25’ high slide that those with a little more need for speed can experience.
For a little outdoor education and excitement, patrons will be able to purchase a bag of dirt with an assortment of fossils. At the Fossil Find Mining attraction, one will be able to sift their bag of dirt in a water trough then identify what they discover with a fossil chart. To entice patrons, a random selection of bags will include a prize ranging from a free meal to a free attraction and on occasion, a $100 prize.
Wild Willy’s will feature custom made remote control boats customers can control in the lagoon.
Wild Willy’s will feature appearances by its very own life size raptors and raptor wrangler. The show will feature a life like, life size raptor on a leash along with a professional “trainer”. The show can be used for entertainment and education alike. Wild Willy’s also anticipates using the trio for marketing. Appearances can be made at schools, churches, malls, parades, etc.
Moving the party indoors, Wild Willy’s will feature a state of the art arcade. The arcade will include 60 of the latest games. The majority of which, will be redemption based to encourage more play time. Customers can redeem their points earned while playing for prizes from our redemption store ranging from IPads and Xbox’s to t-shirts and stuffed toys.
Integrated into the arcade, Wild Willy’s will feature a dino themed laser maze challenge. The challenge is to make it from one end of the room to another grabbing as many raptor eggs by hitting a button as you can without tripping any lasers. If one completes the challenge with a perfect score they will be awarded a raptor egg souvenir.
Customers can experience a 4D thrill like no other. The 4D theater will feature the latest in 3D video projection adding a forth dimension of motion with seats that move with occasional air and water blasts. Seating as many as 32 people, it will feature 4D films ranging from dinosaurs to deep water voyages.
Wild Willy’s will feature a laser zone like no other. Rather than the traditional team play laser tag, the Lost World Adventure will be a 4000sf. maze of prehistoric features and life like animatronic dinosaurs and giant insects behind every corner.
With over 50 targets, the challenge is to make it through the maze with your torch and gun and hit as many targets as you can. At the end of the maze your score is tallied and points are awarded to your Wild Card to be used for redemption prizes in the arcade.
In a later phase, Wild Willy’s is planning to feature a family roller coaster. It will be something different and more exciting than traditional go-carts, and patrons of all ages will be able to experience a rush.
Wild Willy’s will feature quick serve, family friendly, indoor/outdoor dining. Salvati’s Pizza Factory is a pizza concept based on a proven quick serve restaurant model much like other popular quick serve models such as Panera or Shane’s Rib Shack. The menu will feature quality brick oven pizza prepared with the freshest ingredients and dough and sauce made fresh daily. Adults can relax while children enjoy a safe family friendly environment. Simple and quick, but full of flavor, the model is efficient and convenient.
Wild Willy’s will feature Yogo Mogos™ self-serve frozen yogurt. Becoming very popular over the past few years, fat-free, self- serve frozen yogurt is a superior product that you don’t need to feel guilty about after indulging.
