THE PRANA

Everything is energy.

Energy is the raw material to be made into a flower, a movement or an emotion.

The vital energy available in na-ture and tailored to each form has been called “prana” by the Hindus, and has multiple names in different cultures.

Every living thing receives pra-na, and uses and emits it trans-formed into another variety of prana which combines the in-coming energy with its own vi-bration.

In the great stream of life, all be-haves as an energy carrier.

Irradiation of every living being is its energetic atmosphere: the aura, biofield or vital energy field.

THE BIOFIELD

The body with all its atoms is con-stantly replacing its components but we maintain our personality, our memory, our identity.

Today it is increasingly evident in strictly scientific terms, that the

memory is not in the matter, but it is expressed through it and that our intelligence is not merely a

derivation of the number of neu-rons and their connections.

There is something in the gap between the

molecules, some-thing in the field of energy, which seems to be the key to memory and higher func-

tions.

In medicine it has been known for long

that in major brain injuries, the memory

loss is less than expect-ed for the size of the le-

sion.

The British neurologist John Lorber described rare

cases of people with a nor-mal IQ despite having less than 10% of the cerebral cortex of a normal person.

Without access to the notion of neuronal field as a key to explain-ing information processing, we could not understand these phe-nomena.

Fields emitted by our body go a few meters away from the skin.

The electrocardiogram and elec-troencephalogram, and the electri-cal activity of our organs are asso-ciated with a corresponding mag-netic field with which we can talk in the language of electromagnetic frequencies.

Functional magnetic resonance allows us to enable or disable var-ious parts of the nervous system, thereby getting better knowledge of their role.

Today we also know that complex processes such as tissue regener-ation happen thanks to electrical currents of infinitesimal potential.

Nowadays, we have no doubt about being wrapped and inter-penetrate by a field which mani-fests itself at cellular level in this activated electronic field known as cytoplasm.

The matter is the hypothesis, the reality is the field.

In the ancient tradition of yoga, the etheric body is a network of fine energy channels, which con-stitute the mold or archetype upon which the dense physical structure precipitates.

It constitutes a field for reception, transformation, distribution and irradiation of qualified energy for each life.

The vitality of the physical body depends on the quality of the pra-na circulation.

The network of threads of light, called “nadis” form eddies or vor-tices of energy depending on tis-sue density and crosslinking of the different channels.

The structure of this etheric field is characterized by centers with different range of vibrations and intersecting lines of fields, which are known as energy centers or chakras.

The nadis or energy paths are as-sociated with neural pathways and major blood vessels such as the aorta and spinal cord, for example.

The biofield, the chakras, the na-dis, glands, vascular system and the nervous system form an inte-grated system, called “vital energy system” by sintergetics.

THE DEMATERIALISATION OF THE BODY

Nowadays we can study these en-ergy fields around the body, pre-dicting internal conditions and interact with them without inter-ventionist measures.

We are increasingly dematerializ-ing body and it is dissolving in this vital field or biofield, which holds the keys to explain the response of the whole organism to stimuli of no chemical nature.

This dematerialization of matter, including our physical bodies, re-veals that everything is composed of subatomic particles in constant interaction with the quantum vac-uum.

Since long time ago, the notion of etheric field –comparable to the notion of quantum field–, explains energetic interactions that tran-scend molecular biology.

Since the middle of last century, Harold Burr, a researcher at Yale University, spent more than forty years to objectify the existence of this camp, which he called “L Field”.

We find thus in Western Culture a substrate for the old conception of the field or double etheric that characterizes all organisms, and in other traditions are associat-ed with the so called Laya Yoga, the ancient science of the energy centers or chakras.

Light, sound, electromagnetic stimuli of low intensity, selective frequencies and human energy it-self will undoubtedly be important aspects in future therapeutics.

LAYA YOGA AND THE SCIENCE OF CHAKRAS OR

ENERGY CENTERS

It is astonishing to see the accu-racy with which the ancient yogis described a subtle woven of net-works and energy centers within the human energy field.

In the Laya Yoga –the yoga meth-od focused in energy centers– we find the description of a whole system of fine circuits integrated with its precise connections, wor-thy of modern science systems.

The clinical study of the possibili-ty of the existence of these systems distributed in seven processing centers or major chakras and its possible correspondence with West-ern medicine knowledge gave soon results in the field of Sintergetic.

In systemic vision of this method, the association of chakras, nerve plexus and endocrine glands has been crucial to the design of its in-tegrative proposal.

Over the years there was a clear emergence of frequency patterns and precise correlations for the development of a clinical meth-odology that allows an integrated approach to all organic systems.

THE CHAKRAS AND OUR HEALTH

These energy centers that we don’t see, we don’t touch, and we have not been able to photograph even with the most sophisticated tech-nologies, are the most important aspect of human energy structure from the sintergetic point of view.

For three decades we have ex-plored the reaction of L field or biofield to subtle stimuli such as coherent light of very low intensi-ty; the soft laser.

Thousands of clinical experiences for more than three decades lead us to believe that this subtle field is a receiver, processor and dis-tributor of energy and information that come in contact with the body.

The subtle stimuli that the biofield selectively processes are trans-ferred by means of driving sys-tems of the body’s own biological signals, to the entire network of receptors in the body.

The study of these energy centers located in the biofield surrounding the body, has led us to systema-tize its properties and interactions, checking their utility to expand the field of therapies that in medicine ended with molecular biology.

Today we know that molecular biology is not the limit, and light, sound and magnetic fields of very low intensity can be used due to their therapeutic potential.

The new pharmacopoeia will be-gin with this biophysical stimuli.

Chakras can be recognized by its real and permanent influence on the energy throughout the whole body. Through them, flow multi-ple frequencies of energy which characterize our moods. The func-tion of the chakras explains the in-fluence of emotions on energy and the physiology of the heart.

Without the vortex of energy that channels the vibration of love to the glands through fine channels or nadis, it would be impossible to have the meeting, the sex, the eros, the passion, the survival.

In one of those vortexes of energy we can have the immense force of repressed emotions stagnated, or the energy disruption caused by the overflowing emotions.

At every moment, the chakras re-flect on the body how we manage the information, the thoughts or the consciousness.

Its vibration and activity are deter-mined by the way we use or abuse our consciousness.

THE SEVEN MAIN CHAKRAS

We have seven primary centers, which are the nodal points with a higher density of energy intersec-tions, twenty-one secondary centers associated and interwoven with pri-mary centers following a precise geometric design, and many small-er centers, of which the acupunc-ture meridian system is a part.

This complex interwoven system allows, inside each channel, the circulation of five different types of prana described by the Eastern tradition.

It is as if each energy track had five lanes for energy traffic of different speed and frequency.

Each of the centers has been as-similated to a lotus with a different number of petals.

We can better understand it through an analogy: The consciousness is like a flower expanding in its evo-lution; the number of petals is pro-portional to the evolutionary level of consciousness.

When flourishing, it expands and reveals the potential of the fruit and seeds contained in the middle or cup of the lotus flower.

Thus, the lotus and its petals is a metaphor to refer to the type of energy and frequency that can be process by each chakra, so that en-ergies are increasing in frequency or number of petals from the first to seventh chakra.

In humans these energies are sort-ed by frequency ranges, following the order of the color spectrum, from the lowest frequency spec-trum to the highest.

As the frequency of the centers in-crease, we have a higher level of information.

The system of major chakras rep-resents seven levels of increasing consciousness: the higher the in-formation density, the greater the awareness.

This system of raising the level of frequencies can be glimpsed in the correlation of the frequency bands of the electromagnetic spectrum of color and the centers: red for the first of lowest frequency and violet for the seventh and highest frequency.

In the same way, but at a lower frequency scale, centers have been traditionally associated with musi-cal notes.

So, a system of harmonic reso-nances of the centers is shaped, covering a scale ranging from the densest vibrations, such as sound, to the more subtle, such as color, to highest frequencies related to the emotional and mental levels.

All this can be reduced to the low-est common denominator of the different degrees of consciousness that determine the resonance spec-trum of each center.

All these energy centers are nodal points within a beautiful and com-plex three-dimensional tissue.

The seven primary centers are con-nected with twenty-one secondary centers that represent the anchors or energy support points.

This whole system of harmon-ic frequencies is precipitated in a slower vibrational pattern and ul-timately condensed in the nerves, blood vessels and cell matrix.

This correspondences system es-tablishes interdependence rela-tions between organic and inor-ganic systems, gross and subtle energies, colors, sounds, shapes, organs, emotions, thoughts, and more subtle order patterns or ar-chetypes.

Each energy center resonates with a part of the spectrum that also corresponds by resonance with the endocrine gland, organs and sys-tems nurtured energetically by the center itself.
