Dear Members,
The renovations to the main floor of the clubhouse are almost complete and boy does it look
great. A big shout-out to Andy Arbogast and the House Committee for a job well done. Please
come out and see the changes. I am sure you will be impressed!
We just completed the launch of our new club website and hope that you will find it to be
more updated and user-friendly than ever before. While we are still working out the kinks, we
ask that if you see anything that needs changed or updated, please let us know. The website is
the same (www.berryhillscc.com), but you may need to clear your browser’s cache to be able to
see the new version.
We invite you to join us for the Labor Day Picnic on Monday, September 5. As always, Chef
Ax will go above and beyond to make this a great event. Don’t forget– we will have face-
painting and balloon-sculpting for the kids. See you soon at the club!

Chef Ax’s Recipe of the Month
Peanut Butter and Jelly Popcorn
8 cups popped popcorn
1 cup white chocolate, divided 1 1/2 tbsp
Welch’s Natural Grape Jelly Spread
1 tbsp Peanut Butter
Directions:
1. Divide popcorn into two separate bowls.
2. Over medium-low heat on the stove top, melt 1/2 cup white chocolate
with 1 tbsp peanut butter. Stir until smooth. Pour over 1 bowl of the
popcorn. Use rubber spatula to mix well and coat thoroughly. Spread
out on a silicon mat or parchment paper to let cool.
3. Meanwhile, melt the remaining 1/2 cup white chocolate with 1 1/2 tbsp
grape jelly over medium-low heat on the stove top. Stir until smooth.
Pour over the other bowl of popcorn, and stir with rubber spatula to
coat well. Spread out on silicon mat or parchment paper to let cool.
4. Once both batches of popcorn are cooled enough that the coatings are
set, mix them both together in a bowl and serve.
Mo’s Wines of the Month
2014 Cambria Clone 4 Chardonnay
Bright and crisp with fresh citrus, apple and white peach fruit characters. The sur
lees aging resulted in a slight fullness on the mid-palate that balances the elegant
acidity of the wine. $19.00/bottle
2014 Nielson Santa Barbara County Pinot Noir
This wine displays the beautiful floral and mineral character typical of Santa Bar-
bara Pinot Noir– provocative with notes of rose petal, red plum and smoke.
$19.00/bottle
