You are frightened today, but soon you will be happy here. You will learn to love our husband, as he is a most gracious and good man – intelligent, humorous, loving, kind and gentle. Don't be so quick to judge a book by its cover, Little Sister. I see you avert your eyes from his belly. You have not learned yet that his big belly is our luck, like the belly of Buddha. You try to hide your disgust upon gazing at our husband's feet, which appear to be the feet of a dragon. One day, after you have digested these instructions, and have begun to build your own set of Instructions for Third Wife, you will begin to understand. You will love him. You will rub his belly with glee, and you will kiss his feet. Believe me Little Sister – you will love him with the depth of the sea, and you will need him like a little baby needs his mother. When he is away, you will pine for him, as I do, and anxiously await his return to our palace. Don't be afraid, Little Sister. We do have riches beyond the wildest dreams of the peasants. We will be here to comfort each other, and to raise the many children of the Emperor. Many times, your instructions will come from me, however you must accept them as if they were spoken from the Emperors lips into your delicate ear. You must learn to use my dictates as a guide, and to be creative and industrious in going above and beyond the call of duty. You must learn the ways to prepare delicious foods that will please the Emperor's great belly. Even more important, you shall be required to master the art of conversation and intellectual pursuits in keeping with the Emperor's desire to share mental food with us. Finally, you must endeavor to learn the amorous ways and actions – the pleasing touches, caresses, tastes, smells and cravings of sensuality to please Him. The tasks before you may seem daunting today – remember that we are the most blessed wives in the land, held in the beneficence of the Emperor, and that we have love in our household. There is no pain here, nor suffering, nor draught, nor famine – not physically, not spiritually – the Emperor always will protect us against these things. Your tasks are very small by comparison, and you will learn to love them in time.

One of our primary duties is to maintain order and cleanliness of the home. Always be mindful that our home is a microcosm of the great world outside. Little Sister, I am sorry for these wordsbeyond your understanding. What I mean to say is this – when

our home is clean and orderly, so is the world around us. If wefalter and allow our home to be in chaos, the world around us willbe full of chaos and despair. We are the keepers of order and of Peace; in every clean dish, every spotless floor, in each fold of the laundry, and in every making of the bed. Take this advicefrom me, dear Little Sister – do not attempt to test the powers of the universe. Clean with vigor, as if your life depended on it. Ittakes more work to hide a small mess away than to simply cleanthe mess up at once. This you will learn.

Our kitchens are the fuel for the Emperor's fire. His work is greatand powerful when ours is so. You will taste my recipes and learnthe many complex flavors and textures that will please theEmperor's palate. Soon you will experiment in your kitchen anddevelop new favorite dishes for the Emperor to savor. For now, until you have mastered the culinary arts, you will apprentice inmy kitchen. Precision is not the key in my kitchen. Whenchopping the onion it is not the perfect cube of the dice thatcounts, but the love and care you take with each slice. Whencooking and preparing food you must always think of love and

beautiful things, and not be angry or upset. The most importantand freshest ingredient of even the most complicated dish is theingredient of love. Love for the Emperor will eventually flavoryour delicious recipes. Today, love for yourself is enough tocreate harmony in our kitchen.

One day, you will enjoy the Emperor's company in your bedroom. You will have mastered the art of massage, learning the touchand caress that will soothe his aches and cares away. You will beconsumed by the desire to please him. Until you have learned

the sexual arts, you will watch the Emperor and I in our boudoir. His desire is very strong. He loves us with equal measure. Takecare to remember that this love is not measured by a number of wives or percentage of time, but by his feeling and care for eachof us. There is no place for jealousy here. Think not of yourneeds, or your own feelings, but of His. How can you pleasehim? What can you do to increase his comfort, or decrease his

Page 3: The Book of Nine Wives

stress and trouble? Learn Him. Study his body carefully, takingnote of his reactions to a caress, or a kiss, or a scratch, or agentle bite. You must spend time to relax him in the bedroom.Although you may have an itch to be scratched, or a fire in your

Jade Cave, you must wait until he is ready. Relax him with a

slow, gentle massage. Draw a warm bath for him. Rub his feetand hands. Kiss him gently from the top of his head to the tip of his toe. Use your fingers to stroke him everywhere, gently. Useyour tongue to taste his skin – ears, neck, chest, stomach, thighs, legs, feet, and penis. Be gentle, but firm.

You will learn to relax his body and spirit while simultaneouslyexciting and hardening his Jade Rod. Study his membercarefully. Learn every curve, wrinkle, vein and length of Him. Hisstrength comes from the enjoyment of our bodies, however we

must take care not to take his essence every time we lay withhim. His pleasure is from being inside our warm, wet, silky caves– he will be pleased each time he enters you even if he does notrelease his life essence inside of you. His eyes will close, or hisbody will become totally relaxed, he may even make smallsounds of pleasure. You will learn the signs of Him to know whenhe has had his fill from your cup, and when he wishes to rest.

It may please him to enjoy both of us at the same time. We willlearn new ways to satisfy and pleasure him. Perhaps you may

kiss his lips gently and bite his neck and earlobes, while I gentlytake his Jade Rod inside my mouth. He may wish to enter yourcave while I massage his feet. His lips and tongue may explorethe Pearl Gate of my flower while you stroke and caress his greatmember with your fingers, lips and tongue. One of us maystraddle him and take him inside our cave, while he gently sucksand bites the nipples and breasts of the other. These variationswill always please him, with every taste and every stroke.

After pleasure, he will sleep. His opulent bedroom has the largest

bed in the land tucked away inside. He enjoys comfort andwarmth even when he is at rest. For this reason, we will sleepwith him each night, cuddling his body and molding our shapes tofit around his. One day there will be a Third Wife, perhaps aFourth Wife…our numbers may grow to include many wives. Wewill always sleep around him to keep him warm and comfortable.

As the Emperor is a great scholar, so is he a great teacher. In hislibrary there are many scrolls and books of antiquity, encompassing all the great mysteries of the universe. You areencouraged to explore them, and he will always enjoy aconversation or query about something you have chosen to

study. Eventually, you will learn enough from reading and fromyour discussions with him that you will be able to write scrolls of your own, above and beyond your Instructions to Third Wife.Perhaps you will show a predilection for the intellectual pursuits,as I have, and one day write scrolls that will be read by men andwomen alike. You may develop a keen sense of mathematics, and be one to solve some of the theorems and problems yetunsolved. Savor these pleasures, as so many women in the worldare forbidden to read or write, where we are encouraged to doso. Little Sister, our blessings are many.

As we care for the Emperor as a man, we pamper him like ourSon. Through our many pleasurable encounters with him, we willcarry many children. He is a most excellent Father who takes joyin his children, sons and daughters alike. While we will share inthe responsibilities of raising and education his many offspring,he will rule our home with a firm yet gentle hand. There is an artand a science to mothering. Many reprimands or admonishmentsmay fall under our jurisdiction as mothers, however some of these are His domain. Through careful observation and your

innate intuition, you will learn which situations call for an actionon your part, and which must be brought to his attention.

Little Sister, you will grow much in the years to come. You willmature greatly, and master many arts and sciences. Your life willbecome full and rich. You must keep an eye out for a womenwho may become the Third Wife, your Baby Sister. She should befresh as an ocean breeze, and as delicate and beautiful as thepetals of a flower. Her heart should be light, her mind keen, andher senses sharp. Take care to harvest a woman who has

attributes that will please the Emperor.

Remember his love for ripe breasts, curvaceous hips, and aswollen backside; and temper this with his desire for a woman of keen intellect and quick wit. He is taken with my long hair, silkenskin, and shapely figure. He will enjoy your dark, exotic visageand your long legs. For a Third Wife you should eye women who

will intrigue him and add new attributes to his beautiful family, taking care to avoid women who are pale and drawn, or whosebodies are far from the thick, ripe, juicy fruit he likes to taste.

There is no specific physical attribute that she must possess, onlythat her beauty is natural and not aided by falsehood.

You will develop many attributes and attractions thatcomplement my own. In turn, you will select a woman as ThirdWife who will cull skills and characteristics to complement thoseof First Wife and Second Wife. Training is key – you will one daylead her through these instructions, adding further instructions of your own. Your hard work will be fulfilled when she is finallyassimilated into our household, and when she begins to draft hermost important missive, Instructions to Fourth Wife. And so itgoes, Little Sister. We are among the chosen few, the wives of

the Great Emperor, and the Mothers of the Universe.

Book Two - Little Sister

The first time Elder Sister told me that we all would sleeptogether, in the big bed, I did not believe her. I could not imaginesuch a thing could be so. "Two women to keep the Emperorwarm and cozy," Elder Sister proudly confided to me. Now thereare three. The first night Baby Sister slept with the Emperor,Elder Sister and I had a tough time arranging how the three wives

would position themselves for rest with Him. Elder Sister alwaysdid rest on his right – it has been so for many years. When Icame to the palace to live, I slept for the first forty nights on acanopy bed in a tower, under a sea of stars. The next night ElderSister spent hours preparing poultices, herbal treatments, tinctures and fragrant unguents to bring out my natural beautyand fragrance. My hair was coiled and plaited, wound andfastened with fine Jade implements.

That night, my bath was like a tea of flowers – hibiscus, gardenia,

orchid, jasmine, rose and lavender. Elder Sister let me bathe andsoak in the pool, frolicking in the petal-rich waters. She toobathed, telling me of some things I would do on this night, myfirst night with the Emperor – our Husband. We dressed in thefinest robes of silk. Elder Sister's red gown was adorned with aforest of peach blossoms in a peach grove, surrounded by a lushgreen forest and the sparkling blue water of a river tributary and

Page 6: The Book of Nine Wives

it's waterfall. My green gown was decorated with the finestembroidered silk, in the pattern of a great dragon breathing firefrom his mouth.

I had glimpsed at the great Emperor whenever I could steal a

glance. Mostly for the first forty days, I apprenticed in ElderSister's kitchen, chopping the myriad of vegetables, fruits, herbsand other ingredients Elder Sister would prepare for His palate.Sometimes I would see him from far away, outside the highestpalace windows. Other times our eyes would meet momentarilyas I served dozens of dishes for his dinner.

It was my job to carry the large, ornate platters to the royal tableeach night for the Emperor's dinner. Elder Sister may be oldernow, but in those days she was young, beautiful, and was the

only woman in the Kingdom to master the fine delicacies theEmperor would expect to receive from the palace kitchen.Certainly a young girl like me would not be able to prepare thesedishes without much training. I carefully carried each dish one byone from the palace kitchen into the great dining room. As Iplaced each dish in front of the Emperor, from right to left, dishafter dish; my eyes would meet his for one brief moment as Ibent slightly to place each platter. After all, it would not do toappear impatient or flippant toward Him.

I was a young woman as it was, under observation for a mooncycle and one third of the next. Elder Sister watched me. Shedid reveal much to me of what to expect. Elder Sister treated mevery well for a woman whose very life depended on finding me –Little Sister, Baby Sister's elder sister. She was consumed by herlove for the Great Emperor She was so sure of this love that sheput aside the feelings of her heart to fulfill the destiny of herHusband. She was not jealous, or petty. Actually, she was quiteproud and self-assured. So certain was she of the Emperor'slove, she accepted the wish for a Second Wife with grace and

with her whole being, and began her quest for a perfect womanfor the Emperor.

Imagine the undertaking! Sitting through encounters withwoman after woman, weeding out those who lacked the wisdomit would take to one day become worthy to be the wife of theEmperor. As seeker of the wifely, Elder Sister tirelessly compared

their bodies, their faces, their character, their ways and actions…even the most minute attribute deemed unworthy could causeElder Sister to discount a particular prospective mate for theEmperor. She knew him so intimately, she was perfectly capableof acting as His eyes and ears.

I had in the past watched Elder Sister and our Husband makinglove; quite a few times in fact. The difference between my firstday in the family, and my second day were colored by myreaction to the Emperor after my first time seeing him make lovewith her. The way they loved each other was so beautiful, sopure, so blissful and full of emotion; any person could envisiontheir true love. His gaze upon her warmed the soul, it was as if he held in his gaze the ethereal beauty of the solar system. ElderSister herself grew starry-eyed in the presence of the Emperor

that night. I could see that the King measured his stamina by theburning of the candles. The time he spent inside Elder Sister'sflower blossom, measured against the time of melting candles. Isaw it differently. My observation was that the Emperor'sprowess was the measuring stick, his elegance and sensuality themelting candles dripping hot wax onto Elder Sister's desires.

I knew this first night that my love and His would be like thecomets and stars, a love like fire in the sky. I knew his lips drawnover my areola would make my breasts become swollen with

mother's milk, as if I were his wet nurse and he just a sucklingbabe. I knew of the Emperor's undying love for Elder Sister, butdid not stop to consider my duties in introducing a third wife intoour family; and how they would affect my life in the future. Thisis where I lagged behind the immense wisdom of Elder Sister onthis subject. "You will know your own beauty and strength, andyou will know the beauty and strength of his love; just as sure asyou'll know he will love others. Beauty is one thing that canseldom be measured by a weight, or a period of time. Strength isin the eye of the beholder."

I loved the Emperor after that night, the very man whom thatsame morning had filled my head with a mild feeling of dislike forhim. Alas, I considered only his physical attributes then. Then onmy forty first night as part of his household, I learned all there isto know about love and life. Elder sister left me alone after webathed and dressed. I thought she would bring tea for us,

Page 8: The Book of Nine Wives

Jasmine tea with honey; something hot, bitter and sweet. Imbuedwith flowers, something to toast with in celebration of mynewfound womanhood. She did return with tea, and with asurprise – our Husband.

The three of us drank tea. We talked about the celestial bodiesand how women and children are likened to the Moon and herStars, and a Man to the Sun, the family to the Solar System.Elder Sister excused herself for bed. As she crossed the door of the great bedroom she turned to me, smiling. "Little Sister, youbecome a woman on this night when the moon shines in the skysilver, and round as a mother's pregnant belly. You fulfill theprophecy of the Emperor on this night. I thank you." This is allshe said. Her gaze then turned to the Emperor. She smiled, thenclosed her eyes as if squinting at a too-bright sun on the horizon.

Elder Sister turned abruptly and made haste out of the door.

The Emperor and I talked more about the planets, and our bodiesgrew closer over time. I was so young and innocent then, we satfor hours in the moonlight, and even the sun had begun to riseinto daybreak. Still we did not lock in an embrace, nor entwineour limbs together like the leaves of trees with the wind. I knewfrom the Emperor's occasional gaze that I was pleasing to hiseye. When I dropped a flower from my hair on the ground, thenbent to pick it up, I felt his eyes on my backside. Looking away,

then looking back again, his gaze hovered near my eyes. As thehours passed the knot in the silk cord tied around my robe beganto loosen. First the curve of my breast peeked through the top of my robe, revealing a dark brown nipple peeking out like the sunbreaking through many clouds. Then my thigh and hip escapedfrom inside my robe, my tender skin exposed as I crossed mylegs over His. I leaned over to fill the Emperor's cup with morehot tea, and finally the knot was undone.

With my robe falling off my shoulders and onto the bed, revealing

my naked body, I noticed his lips glistening with a dewy wetness,as if his appetite arose from a delicious aroma. Heat rose in mycheeks when I noticed his hardness under his robe. Still, theEmperor reclined and did not reach out to grab my thick, sweetflesh; nor did he lean over to kiss my full, moist lips. He seemedto be slightly uncomfortable, so I gathered many pillows for himto relax upon. His gaze followed my body around the room,

Page 9: The Book of Nine Wives

setting on a different part of me each time I returned to him withanother cushion. As I leaned to place a pillow underneath hishead, my breast fell close to his mouth. Hit bit at my nipplelightly, then a bit harder. Then he laughed!

Book Three - If a Tree Should Fall in the Forest, and If No OneShould Hearken, The Tree Did Truly Fall

Despite Elder Sister's iron will, our household was one of lessonslearned – where some of us were strong, others were weak.Where one sister was informed, another was ignorant. Onlythrough our life lessons would we balance each other out andreach toward equality.

When it became clear that Baby Sister had been carrying out a

flirtation with one of the houseboys, we Sisters had a serioussituation on our hands. While nearly all of us were of theunderstanding that while we were many wives, our Husbandwould be the only one man in our lives; some held onto a fantasythat they could one day have a man "of their very own". BabySister's proclamation of innocence was quite simple, really. "But,no one told me that I could not!". It was not her fault, merelysome else's omission of the facts responsible for herpredicament. So we wives each asked herself – what is Truth?

What is true? What is false? If we are never told not to dosomething, does that mean that we do that thing? If we areinformed otherwise, will we attempt that which we are forbiddento do? When truth is left unspoken, it still rings true when told. Ibelieve Baby Sister's youthful exuberance belied her true self, and that she did feel that it was wrong to carry on with thehouseboy. She made clever choices quickly, attempting to steerclear from the truth of her actions the gaze of one of her elderSisters, or Heaven forbid, the knowledge of the Emperor. Andagain the question arose. Is the knowledge of the Emperor less

that which he does not see? If a tree falls in the forest, do ourears hear the sound?

Often our heart prevails in situations like this one, overreachingthe grasp of the truth. Baby Sister atoned for her imbroglio afterthe truth had come to light. We had averted a situation thatcould have made all of us wives come under close scrutiny for

Page 10: The Book of Nine Wives

8/7/2019 The Book of Nine Wives

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/the-book-of-nine-wives 10/25

allowing something untoward to take place in our home.

Those with great wisdom often say that people must learn fromtheir mistakes, and if you don't know your past you won't knowyour future path. Baby Sister's behavior was a clouded sun

shower, a hidden blessing. For when we asked the question thatis not answered, each of us questioned our inner selves. We tooabsorbed the severity of Baby Sister's acts. While a trying time, this was cause for celebration. We all learned a most valuablelesson, with great rewards of knowledge, control over ouremotional selves (water) and with no compromising outcomes.

Little Sister herself must have gone through some serious soulsearching. If any one of us exhibited anything akin to jealousy, itwas Little Sister. She didn't act on her feelings, though

somewhere on her face Little Sister would show a slight twinge of resentment toward one of us. As her Elder Sister, her resentmenttoward me was my comfort in the knowledge of the Emperor'slove. Inside, she may have believed that her youth would swayhim toward her, or that her beauty would somehow be moreattractive than that of my own, and this would one day allow himto move in her direction. As her Elder Sister, I knew only that theKing would sway between us all, in many directions, as thebreeze around a tree's leaves. Accept or deny – these are thechoices a woman has in this situation. Somehow for Little Sister;

it was sometimes her decision to deny the truth, to take avacation from reality. At all times she remained complacent, andcarried out her duties in the household. Her disgruntlement wasslight, however she did feel pangs of doubt, of jealousy, of cuckolding. Perhaps she was remembering the dark ages of apast life, when we did not accept the Truths life offered up.

The layers of time do change our realities. Truly, truth was ourmanna from heaven for us as women. In the innocence of myyouth, I once believed the things Little Sister and Baby Sister are

wishful of, deep down in their souls – the thing that you mostwant to truly believe. That you are so beautiful as to attractattention away from another woman, or that he is "your" husband– not someone else's. It is true; many women exude beauty fromevery pore of their skin. Again, this is what goes unsaid.Unspoken. A commandment of sorts, heaven-sent and rooted inright. The truth is that many women are attractive, and that your

Page 11: The Book of Nine Wives

http://slidepdf.com/reader/full/the-book-of-nine-wives 11/25

husband will naturally be attracted to them.

There's an epiphany, a calm before a storm; the moment whenyou come to the understanding of Man's nature. After we acceptthis truth, our lives take on a new meaning, and we experience

new challenges. In the case of the wives of the Great Emperor,we were blessed with the truth, as our husband only loved themost beautiful, exquisite creations of the female species –women whose attributes are so attractive they cannot be denied.

The Emperor's life was such an undertaking, such an immensemeasure of hard work, and dependant on so many people. Noone person could possibly carry out each and every dutynecessary to keep the abacus of the Emperor's mathematics inorder. To expect such a thing from one wife was laughable, as itwas only once we increased in number that we were able to truly

take care of the Emperor in a manner as befit him.

For instance, meals alone took up a great number of hours eachday. Unless a certain dish was requested especially by theEmperor, Elder Sister was firmly committed to serving only a newdish to the Emperor each day. Ingredients and styles were varied– often we would shop for vegetables, fish or other goods atseparate markets, or harvest them from our respective gardens. Each sister was required to be an expert in flavors, with theknowledge of hundreds of recipes and the ability to create new

ones each day based on the Emperor's mood, or the weather.Rainwater could be a new ingredient. Something was new eachday under the Sun, and Elder Sister believed we would therefore

just have to be able to create a new taste from it.

While certain duties in our household were left to servants andmatrons, cooking was one of those that required the wives towork together without help from others outside the immediatefamily. From the selection of the crops, to the choice of vegetables or fish from nearby markets, and including each dice,

slice, chop and mince that went into the preparation of theEmperor's food. Not that the Emperor ever said to Elder Sister,"Only my wives may touch my food." As a matter of fact, theEmperor never explicitly instructed Elder Sister about we wives, nor instructed any one of us sisters directly, about any of theduties of the household. Elder Sister had divined that theseduties were sacred, and that our lives were meant to be

Page 12: The Book of Nine Wives

dedicated to the betterment of the Emperor, for the sake of hisbeneficence to everyone in the land.

Giving unto the Emperor what is the Emperor's. Such was theinspiration for our work. Many in the land lived under the same

creed, however for we sisters it was the creed of our family, of our blood. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Was it thatwe sisters created the loft of the Emperor's lot in life with ourways and actions, or that we lived each day in the quest to liveup to his lot in life? Who are we to say which is true; when thetruth is that it does not matter.

Book Four - Baby Sister Asks a Question

Baby Sister, the third wife, was always meticulous about her

housework, especially after her near-debacle with the youngmanservant. After many discussions over dinner, we wives hadfinally agreed the time was nigh to increase our numbers. BabySister was very young, however not too young to search high andlow for a young sister for herself – a fourth wife for the Emperor. We wives waited and waited, wondering what sort of womanBaby Sister would choose to be next in line.

Short of stature, and with wide round hips, Baby Sister had a big, swollen backside. It grew this way when she was becoming a

woman, and it stayed this way. When she first came to live withus she was a young girl with petite breasts. After giving birth to adaughter, her milk flowed freely and her breasts grew to be soenormous as to compete with her rear end. While the Emperoralways enjoyed his liaisons with Baby Sister, he grew increasinglyenamored of her as she became so full and round. He wouldoften lay his head across her billowy chest to fall asleep, turningaside once in a while to suck one of her brown nipples. Then hewould fall fast asleep again, with a smile like a happy infant.

Baby Sister was becoming increasingly aware of the Emperor'sfondness for all things big and round. It dawned on her that inher quest for another suitable wife, she would have to searchbeyond our borders for a woman of such impeccable stature."Elder Sister, I have noticed that the Emperor never glances atthe maids or concubines in the palace, and that all of them arenot much more than skin and bones, no matter how much they

Page 13: The Book of Nine Wives

eat! Does the Emperor not love all women?" Baby Sister wantedto be sure that her hunch was correct, and the Emperor desiredonly the most rotund, bountiful bodies of women.

"When I was just a girl, my breasts began to swell, my waist

curved in, and my hips blossomed full like rosebuds. By the timemy moon cycles began my thighs and calves had grown plumpand firm, and my backside swelled big and round," explainedElder Sister. "My curves became the stuff of legend in my smallvillage, and word of my delightful shape carried to the palace.

The Emperor sent his guards to fetch me, and we were promisedto be married forthwith. I was astounded to see the many maidsand concubines who occupied the palace, and astonished to learnthe Emperor would bed none of them. As I learned his taste forfood over time, I learned his taste for women as well. It was only

after traveling to a faraway land that I was able to find a suitablewife – Little Sister. Our beloved Emperor will be the father of many nations, as he loves women from the lightest ivory shade tothe blackest ebony. Little Sister may be the color of mahogany, but this only makes her more attractive to the Emperor. Hisardor for both of us increased tremendously after Little Sister

joined our household. Indeed, Baby Sister, as long as there arenew lands to discover with womenfolk who are shapely and ripe,we will find more wifely women for him. Indeed, as the Emperorsays, 'Variety is the spice of life'. Do not worry, you'll find her.

Now you understand his desires and you will find their fulfillmentsoon enough."

Book 6 - The Emperor Asks a Question, and Gives an Answer

Why does the devil keep our people illiterate?

Answer 7

So that he can use them for a tool, and also a slave. He keepsthem blind to themselves so that he can master them. Illiteratemeans ignorant.

Book 7 - The Introduction of Alchemy

ALCHEMY

Derived from the Arabic phrase "Al-Kimia" = the preparation of Stone or of Elixir by the Egiptians. The root in Arabic, Kimia, is

derived from the Coptic KHEM = the fertile Black soil of the Niledelta. Hieroglyphically, this is the Primordial first matter, theKHEM = the One Thing through which all creation manifests.Alchemy = the great work of nature that perfects this chaoticmatter (the fertile Black soil) = Earth. The science corrects allerrors of chaos (chaotic matter). Literally, expressed through theMetals, the Cosmos (Planets), or the substance of our soul.

BLACK PHASE

The Black Phase, or melanosis, is the first stage in alchemy. From calcination, through putrefaction, until fermentation (likegrapes becoming wine), this is the Black Phase

The Revelation of the Book of the 9 Elixirs

The Book of the Nine Elixirs opens with passages on its own

divine origins. The earthly version of the Book of the Nine Elixirswere scriptures conscripted to Heaven – then transmitted fromDeity/Divinity to Deity/Divinity before it was written down in aform for human beings.

The practices of the Book of the Nine Elixirs were revealed by TheMysterious Woman to The Black Emperor. The Black Emperortransmitted the tablets to the Mysterious Master. Before theserevelations, the scripture was called Superior Book of the NineMethods of the Noble Lady of the Primordial Dao of the NineHeavens.

The Noble Lady of the Primordial Dao (or Primordial Lady),mastered the revelation of the Book of Great Purity and the Bookof the Golden Liquor. The Yellow Emperor received her

revelations.

The revelations are thus due to two divine couples, each formedby a female and a male figure. The Primordial Lady and the

Yellow Emperor on one hand, and the Mysterious Woman and TheBlack Emperor on the other. The divine form of the YellowEmperor and the Black Emperor are two attributes of the samedivine being. Each attribute is a microcosm representing Hisplace at the beginning of history. A similar relationship occursbetween the Primordial Lady and the Mysterious Woman. The

Primordial Lady in the Heavenly bodies, not destined for humanbeings, and the Mysterious Woman is connected to thetransmission of the revelation of the Black Emperor.

The Black Emperor transmits the doctrines and practices, signsand symbols of the Book of 9 Elixirs. The Black Emperor receivestransmissions from the Divine Beings – The Mysterious Woman, the Pure Woman, and the Yellow Emperor. This book describesthe moment in which teachings that do not have a historicalorigin enter human history.

The Pure Woman taught the sexual practices to the BlackEmperor. The Yellow Emperor was his instructor in the martialarts, and the Mysterious Master educated him in the medical arts.

Through the advice the Black Emperor received transmissionsand became the model sovereign who seeks perfect lessons and

teachings to make his great empire. In his quest, he devotedhimself to alchemical practices and ascended to Deity/Divinity

The Divine Mud, obtained from 7 ingredients, it is often calledMud of the Six and One. Six and one is Seven. The sages keepthis secret, and therefore call it 'Six and One'."

Dust flew and settled as the Emperor smashed the Book on thefloor. His show of force in front of us was a wake-up call meant toensure the attention of even the most chatty of schoolgirls.

"The revelations of this Book have been transmutated, and thereis a falsehood here. He who knows does not say, and often hewho says does not know. Seven is Seven, and Seven is Six andOne. Six and One is Seven. This is the great knowledge of theBlack Emperor." He knows, and speaks to us few, a group of proud, brave, intelligent young ladies – his apt pupils.

Through the lessons we came to know the history of therevelations of the memory. Often we created momentsreminiscent of the light of the memory. Perhaps a perfectmasterpiece of the love arts? A dish from our kitchens sosumptuous, such a tantalizing delight that we created at eachmeal a new dish for the Emperor, until he would transmit arevelation to Elder Sister of what he would enjoy. From our greatkitchens, or from our bedchamber; even our science at home wasunique and exotic.

Often our efforts only revealed the transmission of the PrimordialLady or the Mysterious Woman. Hence our lives – more and morewives came to receive divine transmissions from the greatwisdom of the Primordial Lady and the Mysterious Woman. ThePrimordial Lady, she is pure. And the Mysterious Woman? Well, let's just say she's inexplicable.

Page 17: The Book of Nine Wives

Baby Sister received the lessons and heard the smack of the silkbook cover against the ebony of the palace floor – but alas, BabySister got the lessons first before the other wives. "The DivineCompounds are the bodies of the Gods' attributes. They form a

unique combination in their chemical form, these elements createGold, as well as the Divine Mud." Baby Sister stopped to look forthe Emperor's reaction to her sudden comments.

"Go on, young one. What more than Gold, or of Mud?"

She smiled the briefest, most imperceptible smile. "Well, as thecompounds are in the hands of man, so they are active in Man'sbody. They react and counter-react in Man's brain. There is asource of Divine Mud, of pure Gold. As in Man's body, so they

exist in the Heavens. The God's bodies (attributes) combine withthe many attributes, physical and metaphysical, of our bodies, orour own revelations of the Pure Lady and the MysteriousWoman."

The rest of what she said seemed more like a revelation in itself than a thought passing. It was the moment coming into ourhistory, a lesson unto itself. A rekindling of forgotten memories.

Baby Sister had the knowledge and the wisdom to spark the

understanding of our lesson. In this subconscious act, sheshowed and proved the true-right reasoning, as well as thedoctrines, of the lesson. As I glanced at Elder Sister, I could seeshe was duly impressed, and that the Emperor was impressedwith us all - Elder Sister, Little Sister, and Baby Sister – we had

joined the Pure Lady and the Mysterious Woman to the BlackEmperor. In Heaven, as on Earth.

An alchemical paradigm was divined through revelations of themystics. The stuff of Heaven. The alchemists developed separate

forms of communication and there were few writings for merehuman beings. Those tablets that were left were difficult to read, for they were a combination of written language, mathematicalformula, divination and chemical algorithm.

Alchemy shows metal held together by a spirit (Mercury) and asoul (Sulfur), and the divine aspect of the soul that could

separate those metals. Spirit and Soul.

The world is a symphony of opposites. Male, Female. Positive,Negative. Hot, Cool. Light, Dark. Yang, Yin. When Yang and Yinenjoin, the struggle between these two elements formed the Five

Elements. Water, Fire, Earth, Air, Wood and Metal. From theseFive Elements all things are made. Alchemy ≈ Al-Khem ≈ Kimia.

The Association of the Metals and Heavens

Gold ≈ Sun ≈ SundaySilver ≈ Moon ≈ MondayIron ≈ Mars ≈ TuesdayMercury ≈ Mercury ≈ Wednesday

 Tin ≈ Jupiter ≈ Thursday

Copper ≈ Venus ≈ FridayLead ≈ Saturn ≈ Saturday

Sunday, Moon Day, or Saturn Day, the planets orbited around theSun. Light, shining like Gold. He was positive and a Man. Hisday was Sunday.

There is a moment when Gold meets Silver, and dusk sparklesthe first light of the Moon after Sunday. This is the dawn of thenext day, Moon Day (Monday). She can be negative, her night air

may feel cold and crisp…but each day and each night, the Sunmet the Moon to exchange divine light. So in Heaven, as onEarth.

No one said it aloud, but Elder Sister revealed Moon Day in ourfamily. Little Sister's day was Tuesday, and she had the strengthof Iron in her blood. Baby Sister's liquidity likened her to Mercuryor Wednesday. Who could envision what type of planet Jupiter'swife would transmit. But always, he was the Sun and we werethe Sky and earth. And if the Black Emperor was not the Sun?

This would never be so. The KHEM was a strong force of Soul andSpirit, Spirit and Soul. All we wives had a different chemistry, aseparate atmosphere. Yet all the Sisters were one – one Sky, OneEarth…The Divine Mud held our family together. We all loved hisAstral body. How would we be Dark if he were not Light?

The Moon symbolizes woman and lunar consciousness. On earth

an Empress is naked during her early stages and regains herroyal robes at the end of her transformation. The Moon and Starseach night made it so. Over a complete Moon cycle, shetransforms from naked to robed, crescent to full. Sleep gives restfrom labor or active motion of the brain = contemplation,

memory, reminiscence and imagination thus, sleep brings truthto the light. Sleep increases with cold, with the moon waning orwaxing, and the night rising to dawn's light. When a man's mindreacts to sleep, he awakens.

When atoms are excited, a phase of quantum mechanics calledBlack Body Radiation begins. As atoms are heated they willradiate light. As the temperature of the atoms change thewavelengths, or distribution of colors, change.

The Mysterious Woman would come when our lessons reachedthe Black Body Radiation stage. One never know how manyrevelations she would transmit – or from whom. The MysteriousWoman came from many exotic locales. In many Sky bodies herattributes would take shape. Earth bodies revealed her mystery. She left us awestruck at the possibilities. Probability – all thethings her Divine Being sent to us were precious.

Book 6 – A Dream of Jupiter's Wife

Baby Sister answered another question, and she solved amystery indeed – one of the great mysteries of woman. She hada foresight of great portent – she imagined jealousy. The thingthat could make a beautiful woman ugly. It was as if this womancould see herself usurping the Emperor's authority. Only shecould draw attention to something besides the battle of Yang and

Yin. Her struggle proved futile after all.

Baby Sister walked far, or traveled by horse, searching for thenext wife. Each Wednesday she would travel into the sunset,

seeking for many moons she returned with nothing to show forher efforts. Then she awoke one day to a dream – that she wouldmeet a woman so beautiful – an Asiatic princess from across theland and sea – who would be the Fourth Wife.

She sputtered to me before our breakfast tea, "Hibiscus!". Hotbiscuits? Is Baby Sister going mad, I wondered.

Page 20: The Book of Nine Wives

"Hibiscus flower. She wore it in her hair. Beautiful, black, ebonyand mahogany. She was curved, almost round as a full moon insome places. She will please the Emperor."

"Baby Sister, where is this great beauty?" I wondered aloud. Didshe exhibit an ungainly attribute? Was she lacking of science andmathematics? Did she live in a land so far away that she did notknow of the kitchen? What sort of a woman is this? Her darknessand cold nature eclipse the bright light of her curves and hergreat beauty!

"No, Elder Sister – she was in my dream. I awoke before dawn. Though I do know what she looks like." I explained, saddened byher dismay. I did meet a woman that day, who wore a fuchsia

Hibiscus blossom tucked behind her perfect ear, its perfumewafting to scent her glorious hair. It was simple to meet her –she came to our Palace door with an offering of honey for theEmperor.

The honey lady was so sweet that bees could not follow her orsting her. She was so perfectly brown, like Gardenia honey. Hercurvaceousness seemed to make her liquid, like honey. Was she

 Jupiter's wife?

"She may not be made of moonlight," chastened Elder Sister."Her beauty is great, but more is to be revealed". The honey girlwith her Hibiscus and her hips soon came to join our household. As a maid of the Emperor, it was her duty to scent small batchesof honey with Jasmine blossoms, then mash them together withpure Shea butter to create the sacred unguent we wives used tomassage the Emperor. The buttery honey was sweet anddelicious, the perfect compliment for his smooth skin.

It would take more than this heavenly unguent to soften Elder

Sister to the charms of Miss Hibiscus. In the beginning, theEmperor did not see her, but both Elder Sister and Baby Sisterdescribed her to him. Elder Sister described Baby Sister'stransmission of the revelation of her beauty. Her visage was fine, but our Emperor paid her no more than a passing fancy. BabySister was convinced her dream was prophecy, the Hibiscus ladybrought her honey and made her unguent. One day Elder Sister

Page 21: The Book of Nine Wives

approached her as she bent over a pot of honey and Jasmineblossoms. Elder Sister made the honey lady a sweet offer thatshe could not refuse.

"It would please the Emperor if you would massage his feet with

your honey butter." She measured Ms. Honey's reactioncarefully. "I am honored, Great Wife. I will prepare the finesttinctures to touch his skin," the honey lady replied.

Hibiscus-Gardenia-Jasmine honey was so lovely even Elder Sisterwondered about the Emperor's reaction to her presence; herslow, sensual gait and her delicious aroma. Elder Sister sent herto bathe, then each sister sank into the fragrant perfumed waterstogether. These four women joined his Majesty together, joinedhim first as three wives and a woman.

She rubbed his feet and the honey butter was fragrant, pleasing. In passing the Emperor later told Elder Sister, "My feet are a bitcold." She massaged his feet, his legs, his great belly, his chest, his neck, his back and his head until he felt quite warm all overhis body once again.

For many moons, Hibiscus Woman remained a mysterious being. One day she did not appear at the Palace, nor again after thattime. The Emperor had indeed found her flower to be beautiful,

fragrant, lovely and enchanting. But alas, she did nothingwhatsoever to warm his feet.

Her mere memory, her slight presence, was recalled on a coldnight, a chill crisp in the air. The woman was not wifely. She didnot love the Emperor, not even enough to make his feet warm.Her beauty left her cold. Bitter cold. She was green with envy –the green of an Emerald Dragon. Her terra cotta complexionbelied her frigid demeanor, this was not the glow of Cinnabar andGold. She taught the lesson of vanity, and jealousy, and envy;

and how cold and empty they all were compared to the love of the Emperor and his Wives.

Eventually, an enchanting beauty from Malaysia did become thefourth wife, Thursday's Woman. We sisters met her at themarket where she dealt in flowers and blossoms of Lavender,Hibiscus, Gardenia, Night-Blooming Jasmine, Rose and Orchid.

She offered to perfume our bathing pools with her blooms, and toprepare tinctures and unguents for the esteemed Emperor. BabySister remembered her dream, and this was the beautiful bearerof bountiful blossoms she'd envisioned. Her mahogany skinshone, her ebony eyes and hair seemed to sparkle. She was

indeed Thursday's wife, a beautiful planet called Jupiter, the mostbeautiful woman Baby Sister could ever dream of.

Book 7 - The Spring Snowfall

"I never sleep anymore! It's snowing outside like crazy. Do youkeep me here, or do I keep myself here? Once the metals meld, they're impossibly hard to separate. Gold, Silver, Iron…Mercuryis next, then Tin, Copper and Lead. She'll be liquid. Liquid eyes, liquid hair, liquid curves. Metal, but pure water. The steam from

her water fallen on my heated Iron will rises to shine the Silverand refresh her, for she will meld us all with Gold. Liquid heat, the Sun's blaze, yet metal through and through. The first metalshall be the last (Gold), and the last shall be first (Gold). TheDivine Meld of Seven Metals. 1 + 6 = 7 = 6 + 1. The Black Goldwe harvest is the most fertile soil. The Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury,

Jupiter, Venus, Saturn. Gold, Silver, Iron, Mercury, Tin, Copperand Lead. Sunday, Moon Day, Tuesday…the many forms of Seven endure. Also many forms of Nine…The Nine Golden Elixirs, the Nine Golden Liquors. Perhaps then there will be eight wives?

Who among us could estimate. It was our best way – to study allof the possibilities, to manifest all the microcosms."

Little Sister said all of this to herself during a fascinating storm, when spring's peach blossoms were covered with snow. TheEmperor was far away, perhaps in a distant village, pillaging. Orin a faraway Palace, where he may have made war in the past.Elder Sister, to whom great honor was to be attended upon, wasthe most like a militant of all of the wives. She hacked at thegreen vines in Malaysia along with many men. "Women wander,

in their ways, on occasion," pined Elder Sister. "They forget thatany work to benefit the Emperor benefits our family, andultimately our nation. We women are tough, we too can buildempires and destroy our way along our path to what is great."

She would practice what she wisely worded to us. She oftenspoke the mind of the Emperor, although he never said these

Page 23: The Book of Nine Wives

words aloud. He did teach us a great deal, and he made us alllaugh and smile with his effervescent humor. He was a man of valor, and he was also something of a villain. After all, had henever taken land, or women, or crops, or even spices, would ourpalace have been so rich and grand? Elder Sister had a firm,

resolute stance which she had steadfastly held since her earliestmemory. "Where I come from, the wealthy and royal, and thepoor and royal, these men alone can sustain Nine Wives. A manwith many wives must treat them all with due respect, and theyare meant to live in the same manner – whether wealthy or poor,he will be royal nonetheless, if he is to have many wives."

Elder Sister drank a special tea to ward off a dream shesometimes had. Many of us saw it as a portent. She imagined inher slumber an odd place where man and woman forgot about

Sky and Earth. No one was rich, or royal, or poor, and there werefar fewer wives. She saw this dream on nights when a red moon-glow encircled the silver disk, glinting and gleaming in the crispair. This dream often left Elder Sister silent for hours as shesipped tea and contemplated how lucky we all were to be here, awake, than in her dream, asleep.

There was a new dilemma. Elder Sister and Little Sister believedthat Baby Sister would cause confusion with another name like

Tiny Sister. Small-as-a-Dewdrop Sister? We came upon the

magic formula of flora used to perfume our bath – Hibiscus,Night-Blooming Jasmine, Rose, Lavender, Gardenia and Orchid. Each sister would, for the time being, be known by the name of her flower. Until we ran out of flowers.

The Emperor didn't require monikers to refer to us. He moresoshaped our being, who we were, with his life essence, than he diduse words to reflect this. Through many flowers, and manyhoneys from those flowers, to our magnificent pools of scentedwater; they colored our personalities, our attributes became more

simply portrayed, or seemed less to defy description. Manyflowers took on qualities, even colors, of the other blooms. Afterall, the bee and stinger pollinated us all in time. Often a hint of lavender became melded with the orchid…or a rose carried thefruit-laden scent of the hibiscus. Some Gold was bound to end upwith the Mercury…who could separate the Sun's reflection fromthe glow of the moonlight, or the red glow of Mars, even the rings

around Saturn. An earthly glow, alas, was an earthly glow…timeand time again.

The Palace with the crescent moon and the pyramid viewsbeckoned us to Him. When this peach-blossom-snow Moon

began to wane, we'd travel east until she waxed and wanedagain. During these days at the Palaces in Egipt, no one atemuch during the day, and barely wet one's lips with tea or waterbefore sundown. On these long, beautiful, serene days, theMysterious Woman visited often. We'd wake in the mid-day afterthe Emperor's lessons to the children of the dynasty. Since nolunch would be eaten, we loved to spend the rest of the daylighthours bathing, soaking, luxuriating…we had so much funfrolicking in the baths together the Emperor would often join us.We'd quiet down our girlish laughter, the very thing that drew

him to us in the pools, but couldn't contain the occasional splashor curious giggle.

Once we circled him and swam around and around his greatbelly, with all of our hands upon him. Eight hands, eighty fingers, eighty fingertips, touching and caressing his skin, stroking himlight as flower petals. We'd split into groups to massage him withhoney butter, or to bathe him sensuously, while other flowerswould repair to the kitchen for the dinner preparations. We'dbreak our fast, then take on our own energies, hone our unique

attributes, and transmit these energies to the All. As the last of the Sun sank behind the great pyramids of Giza, basking them inorange, gold and amber, we gradually made our way into thegrand bedchambers with our great husband. This was the bestpart of our holiday.

Our Ramadan was our fast, but the nights under this Moonbecame our feast. More stars never shone than on these nights.

The energies of the fertile crescents and the rich, black river muddrew us in. They called to the Primordial Lady in all of us. There

was one unspoken rule – during this time we should not provokeour husband with yearning or cause him to rise in a toward wayduring the daylight hours. If he was aroused from bathing, orfrom being massaged, one would prolong the wait until Sunset, until after the fast had been broken. One day there was such afrenzy that none of us could wait. We could no longer leave himuntouched, or go without tasting him, or without feeling his

Page 25: The Book of Nine Wives

center of energy channeling through our joining chakras. Westarted as soon as we were in the fragrant pools with him, andwhen we were all finally sated, it was the dawn of the next day.We left at Dusk that same day, as our moon under the pyramidsdrew to a new climax. The Great Palace was in full spring bloom

when we returned. Again, He had melted our snow.

We never denied our role in this exchange of energies, neverdiscounted our Nature. We must have kindled then fueled hisheat in some way, with our desire. However the truth stoodalone – the Sun melted the snow to ice, then to water, when shewould rise up in steam off the lakes, join the clouds in the sky, until she next met earth when she rained down upon us again, settling as dewdrops on the leaves of the hibiscus and thegardenia, moistening the petals of the rose and the orchid, or

mingling with the fragrant mists of the jasmine and the lavender.
