• Be prepared to learn something you didn’t know … even if you know the person well!
Imagine better!
• Dream bigger! What is your vision of a good life?
This isn’t rocket science
• But it does require a different skill set from the one we traditionally hire for and reward…
It requires organizational commitment
• Shifting from service provision to a partnership approach
Look to natural supports as a first response
• Ask “who might we enlist to help us with this?”
The language we use is important
Use Technology !
Leadership is key!
• Building and sustaining networks requires facilitation and strong leadership, someone who can rally people to a brighter future.
