We set up a meeting with the owner and the Master Agent a week prior to the event to ensure there was proper inventory, staffing, and visual merchandising to draw in customers. The customer will be reminded prior to installing the maintenance release with a message stating a new firmware package is ready to install. If you select “OK”, the device will be restarted. To install later, please select “later” and choose download finished icon on Notification panel.

On September 10, Android customers will have ability to enhance their visual voicemail experience with the introduction of Avatars. Details:

» Avatars will be available within the Visual Voicemail app for all Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile Android devices. Customers must accept the software update to get the enhancements.

» Charges will appear on the bill under the Visual Voicemail App.

» The recipient does need visual voicemail app (with software update) in order to view it on their phone. If message is sent to a device without the proper software (even if on another carrier) they will be able to click a link in order to view it.

» There are free Avatars and Backgrounds with more premium options at $0.99 each. Once purchased premium Avatars never expire making it easy for a customer to build a portfolio.

Ensure the device is eligible by checking the Sprint Phone Activation Eligible device list located in the

SPG Sales Portal Library > SPG Indirect Channel Resources > Sprint Phone Activation > Sprint Phone Activation Eligible devices for Boost. (Note: Please inform customers that a Master Reset is needed in order to wipe all old customer data from the device.)

2. If eligible, check to see if the device requires a call to dealer Queue first (it will be noted in the eligible device list).

3. If a call is required, call the dealer Queue and request that the agent “Re-SKU the Sprint device so it can activate on Boost Mobile”.

4. After the Care Agent has Re-SKU’d the device (takes approximately 15 seconds), they will end the call and you can proceed through activation in the SPg Sales Portal.

A call to the dealer Queue is required ONLY to have the phone re-SKU’d. If the dealer Queue agent completes the activation at the dealers request, the dealer may not receive MRC bonus (monthly recurring charge) and/or any incentive/promos running at the time.
