SYSTEMS OF EQUATIONS

SYSTEMS OF EQUATIONS

Graphing Vs. Substitution Partner Activity

Objective: To practice solving systems of equations by both graphing and

substitution methods.

Directions: There are two versions (A and B). Partner A will solve the system by

graphing while Partner B solves the same system by substitution. Once finished,

they check their answers. If they match, they move on. If they are different,

they swap papers and check each other’s work to identify and clarify any

mistakes.
