    II. RetailA. Innovative retail format

    With the growth in retail developments in the region, the Group

    decided to synergize its four core concepts under one roof. Hence,

    Babyshop, Shoe Mart, Splash and Lifestyle were put together to

    form Centrepoint, enabling us to negotiate for anchor tenant

    positions within malls

    B. Penetrating different market segments

    With growth in inflation and cost of living, the Group decided toset up the value business and establish itself with the MAX fashion

    format, providing Value for Money fashion and home accessories

    On the other hand, we also set up the Franchise Brand Portfolio, to

    cater to the premium segment of the market

    A. Consolidation of Logistics

    The Group decided to consolidate its logistics and warehouse

    operations in a centralized facility in Jebel Ali, Dubai The centre spans one million sq. ft. and houses the requirements of

    all our retail concepts

    B. Central Distribution facility in China

    With an increase in our sourcing needs from China, we decided towork with third party logistics service providers, for direct shipments

    to our territories

    This exercise has cut the end-to-end supply chain by 20%
