• Third, fourth, and fifth grades participate
• Recognizes appropriate behavior and work habits
• Special program, activity, or reward at the end of each month
• Funded by PTA!
Types of Rewards
• Walk to Elms Park
• Bowling
• Arts and Crafts Day
• Elms Cinema
• Rollhaven
• Beach Party
• Outdoor Relays
• Board Game Day
Criteria to be Eligible• Follow written and oral
directions• Complete work on time• Be prepared for class• Use time wisely• Pay attention in class• Respect the rights, property,
and feelings of others
Criteria to be Eligible
•Display a good attitude toward learning
•Observe quiet time
•Follow proper hall and restroom behavior
•Be respectful to adults
•Return parent communications promptly
•Have no bus referrals or citations
How to Qualify• Five checks are allowed per
student• Sixth check disqualifies you• A bus referral counts as three
checks• Unacceptable citations= six
checks• Fighting• Defacing school property• Swearing• Cheating/forgery• Stealing
Parent Notification•After third check
•Inappropriate Behavior Notice sent home
•After sixth check•Notice sent home again
•Bus referrals and citations are sent home immediately
•All parent communications must be signed and returned promptly the next day
Students Who Do Not Qualify
•Remain at school with a certified teacher
•Each teacher takes a turn supervising
•Students are given a packet of work to complete
