Duncan Chiropractic Group has been helping people improve their quality of life since 2004. They have the training and experience needed to effectively and safely treat a variety of injuries and conditions in people of all ages.

The mission of Duncan Chiropractic Group is to exceed the health care needs of patients, in and around Livingston County, by providing the highest quality medical care, equipment, and services. They respect the rights of their patients and are ded-icated to providing excellent customer service. They ensure that members of their team receive ongoing education so that they are knowledgeable about the latest care techniques and technology and are able to serve patients by surpassing industry standards.

The office recently moved to a facility 5X larger than their previous and added a fifth doctor to staff - all apart of their plans to expand their care 5X. With the move, the office also added a Braincore Training Clinic which treats ADD/ADHD, depression, anxiety, and fibromyalgia without medication or pain. The new space also added Experience Group Fitness and Sauna Club for patients and the community to be a part of. The office also created Experience Weight Loss Clinic which has high-end treatments and the only Verju laser in Michigan.

My role as marketing assistant included all aspects of the office. I was involved in marketing for Duncan, Experience Fitness, Experience Weight Loss, and Braincore Training. My design skills were stretched as I did work for all of the offices as well. I was also in charge of all of the event planning for the months that I was there. I learned valuable skills about marketing, business management, design, event planning, time management, organization and more during my time spent at DCG.

Goal: To bring patients back to the office

Target audience: Patients who haven’t been to the office in more than three months but have been in

the last year

Method: Targeted Facebook post. First collected the emails from database of patients,

created an audience of those emails on Facebook, created a post that was both informative and intrusive to their timeline. The post was personalized and went to the

timeline of those patients who haven’t been to the office for a while. Patients could then come in to the office, mention the Facebook ad and receive two tickets to the

local movie theater (where Duncan Chiropractic Group advertises).

Axis is a group a part of the Brighton Chamber of Commerce for young business people. They hold meetings to encourage networking. This event was held at our new

office and served as a way to promote our business as well as share Dr. Duncan’s story of being a young businessman himself.

With the recent move to a new office, DCG wanted to have a grand opening. Instead of just holding a one day event, we planned an entire month of celebration. For the en-tire month of July we partnered with the Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor to raise $10,000 and donate items off of their wish list. Our office was decorated, Christmas music was in the air, employees wore red shoes and Santa was on our roof.

Duncan Chiropractic Group Celebrates Grand Opening with a Month of GivingRaising $10,000 for Ann Arbor’s Ronald McDonald House

Brighton, MI: In celebration of Christmas in July, Duncan Chiropractic Group (DCG) will be donating $10,000 and hundreds of wish list items to the Ronald McDonald House of Ann Arbor. The office is dec-orated for the holiday, Christmas music is ringing in the air, employees are wearing red shoes, Santa is on the roof and patients are excitedly participating in giving. The month celebrates the group’s recent move into a space five times larger than their previous, their addition of a fifth doctor to the staff and their expansion of services that benefit patients. The Grand Opening and ribbon cutting for the new facility will bring patients together and send Dr. Duncan into a cold dunk tank on “Christmas Eve” - July 24th.

In regards to the reason behind the giving, DCG owner Dr. Eric Duncan said, “Many charities are over-whelmed around Christmas time in December yet are forgotten about in the summer and funds often run low. We thought this would be a good way to help those in need, because a child can get sick any-time of the year – we want to support the Ronald McDonald House so they can, in turn, support fami-lies when they need it most.”

The office sees over 140 patients every day and for the entire month DCG will donate $1 for every visit and $40 for every new patient visit. Patients have the opportunity to give by bringing items from of the Ronald McDonald House “wish list” to leave under the tree or by giving monetarily. The final cel-ebration will be the Grand Opening featuring snowfall, a visit from Santa, “dunk Duncan” and three grand prize drawings for patients in attendance.

On Four Card Day, doctors handed each patient 4 business cards with a special offer for a $17 exam on the back and asked them to hand them out to their friends.

This is a different way to try and reach more people with the hopes that patients want to refer the office and a offer that will be enticing to the people being referred.
